Let me tell you the story of Deler Balonul, the hammer lord militia captain of the the bloody shields. 11 years of service raiding dark towers and elf forest retreats finally took its toll on Captain Balonul, but he was a proud dwarf. Some would argue he was too proud to seek out the help he desperately needed. In the spring of the year 111 he finally snapped in The Golden Nuts tavern when the dwarf Asmel Murklabored interrupted Captain Balonul while reciting poetry. A full on brawl ensued with Captain Balonul and Asmel in front of the patrons in The Golden Nuts. The Tavern Keeper Momuz Dorencatten tried valiantly to break up the fight, but was unable to and was injured in the process. The mortal blow was landed on Asmel when Captain Balonul punched his head, causing it to explode into gore. With the interruption neutralized, Captain Balonul returned to reciting poetry as if nothing out of the ordinary had occurred. It took the entire fortress guard to bring Captain Balonul to justice despite him wearing only his civilian attire.
