The new user experience for f2p for this game is genuinely awful. It starts out just fine, but as soon as you hit the main hub, the main campaign missions just... end. I suppose if you wanted to skip that and just do strikes all day, you can, but it feels like a game made for someone who has been playing for years and just doesn't want new players to know what's going on or why. When the only campaign mission they give you (which is only a preview of an expansion anyway) throws you into a story without any possible way of knowing what's happening, something terribly wrong is happening with your new player experience. Honestly, this game is just not good enough to get me to continue playing it, never mind pay for any of it. If it gets better later, they have a funny way of communicating that.
