re using minibosses gives DS2 feels.

got to lvl 50, bored as hell.

40runs(10wins) and i've completed the game with every weapon (not including some unlockables).. extreamly fun but the replay value drops off quite quick,
since there are only few good builds. Got around 30hours out of it, unlike binding of isaac which i have 800+ hours and still play it time to time.. with more content / dlc or something like that, i could see my self milking more hours out of this.

Boringly mediocre, it's a finished product sure that u can sell. It's a "soulslike" but actually not. It check's all the minimum requirement to be called a full game but it's done so lazily, enemies and zones are all just remodeled or just copy-pasted around ..and even bosses are all just an enemy with a higher health-bar with one mechanic + add's that keep swarming in.
After finishing this game with a friend we were left wondering why we would ever play this again. Theres only like 8armor set's and 10weapons in the whole base game.

Having spent around 40k hours playing games, these 200hours have been the best.

the screwed up the matchmaking, its horrible

Much more just watching cinematic's than the first game, no real side characters that you get to know.
Main character sounds likes hes having an orgasm and is about to cry, most of the time.
Played through the first one a couple of times and before the storm, i took a 6 month brake between episode 4-5 in this game because it was so sluggish and i had forgotten this game existed.
Big let down after the first game.
First few episodes are pretty good, but after that it starts to feel like the story isn't going anywhere.
Full of stereotypes and "white people are evil" stuff.

it's what a game should be, fun and good gameplay.
