For the longest time as one of the initial supporters, I thought that Void Interactive just took my money and ran. With absolute radio silence for over a year and very little in terms of updates/communication, followed by an extremely unimpressive PVP build, I thought this was just another empty early access promise that would never come to fruition.
Then came this update. These devs pulled an absolute 180. The game is 100% headed in the direction of the spiritual successor to SWAT just as they claim. The atmosphere is dark and dingy, the weapon animations are on the same level as AAA studios, the audio and music is thunderous and immersive, the gunplay is realistic and fluid, and even in this early stage the AI and team interaction shows promise.
