Most of the pros and cons have been covered in previous reviews but i'll add my 2 cents.

One of the biggest complaints from other reviews is "it's not as fun as Left4Dead" which is... debateable. It has some different aspects from Left4Dead, like the deck building and lack of campaign versus. But I would say the biggest difference is that it's not a new/genre-defining game like Left4Dead. If you were a big fan of Left4Dead or played it when you were young and have fond memories of it, this game will not recreate a similar feeling, but honestly neither will any other game. Can't really fault B4B for that.

When it comes to difficulty/poor gameplay, the critiques are mostly fair. People seem to think that veteran is where you should start if you aren't a complete newbie to the genre/gaming so you run into way to many randoms with no decent cards/custom decks and you can't really succeed in vet for long without them (for better or worse). Crossplay also doesn't help this as console players do not seem to play as well as other pc players. My biggest issue personally is that this game relies way too much on the "spam mutations" to increase difficulty and yeah, it's very frustrating and not fun to lose over and over because the game spawned 3-4 tall boys at once and your teammates can't hit weakpoints if their life depended on it. I have yet to try nightmare so I can only assume these issues are 10x worse, so keep that in mind.

The other thing constantly mentioned is "not worth the price". I disagree completely. There are more missions in this than the base Left4Dead 2 which was $60, if you feel that you wasted money because you don't like the game personally that doesn't mean there is not enough content. If you are comparing it to huge, open-world RPGs or to competitive multiplayer games that you put 100s of hours into then sure you may not get as many hours out of it as other $60 games, but that is more an issue of the video game industry refusing to change the price of a new game from $60 for decades at this point. I won't go on a tangent but really, stop complaining about optional season passes/cosmetics/dlc, unless you want companies to charge you $100 for the base version of new AAA games then they need to make money somehow, games cost way more to make than they did 20 years ago but they still cost the same.

Overall, I enjoy the game and would recommend it to fans of the genre, but there are issues. If you do not enjoy grinding/horde-style games then you will not enjoy this one. It is not the Left4Dead sequel some people wanted, but it wasn't supposed to be and it certainly doesn't have to be. It is a fun, mostly mindless, zombie horde shooter, and that is good enough for me.

This player is fantastic, just needs to work on communication, aim, map awareness, crosshair placement, econ management, pistol aim, awp flix, grenade spots, smoke spots, pop flashes, positioning, bomb plant positions, retakes, bunny hopping, spray control and getting kills
