Remember playing this in 2005 and enjoying it because back then, I had ALOT of time as a kid on a crappy laptop. It taught me alot of important lessons that I still hold to this day. Because of this game, I never gamble or bet, and I personally learned to value my time as an adult.

In all seriousness, I love the style of this game and the art. However, the time investment into the game is crazy unless you pay hundreds of $ gambling loot boxes and perfecting and +ing cards. I remember not going to the store with my dad and not going on walks with my family so I did not miss LOD with a virtual family just so I could level up anything past 70. The late game will never really be reached by the majority of the player-base and unless you are willing to put in thousands of hours grinding, you will miss most of what this game has to offer.

It is a great childhood memory but also a horrible reminder not to invest the time you have in life and waste it pressing space bar for 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. (This is not a joke)

Paid 60$ and still can not load in..... After two weeks, servers have not been fixed alongside having to restart my game every time I wanted to find a match with random people. Only fun with my brothers because I did not have to deal with their terrible matchmaking system.

Until it is fixed, I would not buy the game.

First few hours were fun and I enjoyed finding different pieces of the puzzle. After a while tho, I just kinda got board of the whole, die every 22 minutes and wait for a event to trigger. Saving would be nice. It is not a BAD game and there is a type of person who enjoys it. However, like others have said, I prefer to read my stories in order and not waste time trying to figure out how to glue the pages back so I can read it correctly. Some people enjoy the extra leg work and that fine.

Getting really tired of modern games releasing broken........ 40$ and the game can't find a match for most of the first three days is horrible. What blows my mind is Starbreeze had a open BETA to test the servers... It is not like it was unexpected. Secondly, why is the game only online? What feature requires constant connection? Why can't I find private lobbies? Why do I need a new account?

What sucks is the game is very fun. With my brothers, it is a blast. I feel it is a downgrade from Payday 2, but it has other parts in stealth that make it better. The maps feel more alive.

Another question I would ask is why XP is not just given upon completion. Why do I have to farm different challenges to level up. Let me play the game how I like and go for the challenges I feel are fun. Don't lock my progression because I already completed a heist twice....

3070TI, 5900x, 64GB DDR4, and I can sometimes get to 10 FPS on the launch pad if I have less than 20 parts. Around 5FPS when the engines turn on. I would not even spend 10$ for a game in this state. I have no idea why they would be asking for 50$.

Why was this even released? 3070TI and the game barely runs stable at 1080P. Doesn't even look good because random textures stretch out everywhere like the computer is guessing more than calculating. I'll just stick with the original.

Ever wanted to spend 30$ on a game where the menus glitch out and burn into your screen after a match? How about a game where you have to restart 5 times to maybe connect with your friends in a crew. Even then, there is a chance that you will never see them ready and each will just queue solo. If you actually start a game, now you deal with probably the worst AI I've seen in modern games. They are very inconsistent and will spawn behind you in the same room you just cleared. They will stare blindly into the distance and not do much. The only time the game is hard is when 8 of them just rush you which is absolutely random at times. As for loot, all of it just seemed boring. There is no real use for the majority of items and are just filler. This game needs ALOT of work before it is ready to be released. Even then, it is not close to being worth 30$.

First few matches are fun. Then you get places against people who make the game horrible to play. It is not fun being found in 5 seconds by people who just shoot everything without any penalty. Would not recommend to many of my friends.

New Update destroyed the Perk system. It feels like the replacement perks are nerfed versions of the older perks while somehow costing more. I am currently a 3 Star Gold Tier Driller and I can no longer play my main class. The biggest issue I have has to do with the way they butchered Iron Will, Impact Compensator, Seasoned Athlete, and Vampire.

Problem 1) The new Iron will is essentially worthless compared to the old system. It used to grant an 8 Second invulnerability that skilled players could utilize to save themselves. In the Drillers case, you could pair it with throwing axes to time revives. Now that it is a onetime use and it still downs you afterward, what is the point of taking it?

Problem 2) The new Impact Compensators are just bad. I would rather have it back to a flat % of damage reduction than trying to learn a new system where I have to time every jump. That is a terrible way of making a game harder.

Problem 3) Vampire is useless without the old Iron Will system. No one is going to go face checking crawlers when they are low considering they can down you in three hits on Lethal.

Problem 4) The game is generally harder now because everyone is slower due to the changes to Seasoned Athlete. If you got used to your classes speed for the last 2 years, now you play horrible because all your dodge timings are off.

If the old system is not brought back in some way, I think I will be done playing Deep Rock. (I would be down to just changing those 4 perks back and keeping the new perks.) Just flat nerfing everyone is not how you should increase the difficulty of a game. I enjoyed when they added new creature type to combat bunkers. I don’t believe it is fun when the game is to easy, so their solution is to just weaken everyone to make it seem harder…..

Until the old perks are brought back, I will be taking a break from the game. I would not recommend it in this state.
