Firstly pardon for my bad english, not my first language.
Game is overall good. like really really highest 7/10. I played horizon zero dawn back in the days and really loved it.
And for the story i decided to play this one.
Some reason i didnt remember how f annouying the climbing mechanics were in this game+auto dodge/(yes i decided to take the double tab dodge away after being killed twice coz of this mech in game.)
And in forbidden west they decided to add this f annouying gliding/and pulling mechanics. you glide when you shouldnt and you pull yourself to some god forbidden pole that you werent orginally even aware off.
Some reason in this game the combination of these 3 feels so clunky that it gives me PSTD from games like tomb rider 1 on playstation 1 and ninga gaiden 2 from xbox Where the character did half of the time that it shouldnt do or werent suppose to do.
In some parts of the game aloys head is actually hitting (when you are standing) the ladders (or the ledge) in which you should start the climb but just but coz you arent jumping it from the ledge you cant grab it. (lazy coding or just lazy idea ? the whole immersion of the game just disapears when you are realizing this one)
Also some side mission you just casually walked in from some cliff/trees to the "area where you shouldnt be even allowed to be in first place" or you noticed later that there was a ladder/ledge hidden somewhere.(ruins for example)
Aloys as in character decided to go in "i am strong indebended woman" style too much and this culture thing is starting to give headaches. ( she wasnt that bad in the first one right ?).
Im starting to think that every game that comes out on this days, the dev thinks players are competetly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. On this example im using the quests on this game. If im still looting or searching loots in some areas i seriously dont want to hear 20 times in 1 min that i should go or what i should do. i get it if the game was on easy mode but i like a bit of challenge and if im using hard- mode i think i can manage to find where to go or what to do.
AND SOME GOD F REASON THERE IS ADDED THIS MELEE STUFF THAT IS USELESS AF. EXAMPLE FOR THIS ONE IS THAT ON HARDER MODES THE MACHINES F GIVES YOU RODTANG JITMUANGNON TREATMENT WITH ONE BLOW.
All of this above is the reason why i gave thumbs down.

Now if someone has read this far the good parts.
The story and areas are awwsome.
Graphics are really really good and the downloading is minimun on this game.
Skills are really good thing but i think there is way too mutch of it. (Gives poe PSTD and bit clunky to use)
Story proggress and missions progress good for new players. You dont need to play first one to know the story. Its practically the first scene in this game.
There is alot to do and search in the map timely worth of every penny/dollar/euro.

+story is awsome
+reminds me of an old game era where games werent done in 10hours (this can be too if you ingore everything else beside main quest i think its impossible coz you need the stuff and levels to get ahead)
+there is huge amount of content and every part is well written(cant find those in these days)
+ it is actually hard not just a mode if you are willing to take the challenge with hard+ modes

-downloading times
-bit confusing in first 5hours but after you manage to understand the combat mechanics and systems its good game

was great game till i noticed you cant actually "slash and hack" like any other slash and hack games. for around 10 first mission was fun and it was nice for the story but after you notice the games "hardness" comes only from enemies getting suddenly 10000x harder at late and only becouse you dont have exactly good gap closer againts em, 80% dmg you take is from enemies ranged attacks/magics and you cant really dodge em all. some bad rewiewer said about the dodging and he was exactly right. you can only dodge right or left and sometimes neither of those options arent avaivable. i consider myself good with combos and the main point games like this is the combo and beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of the enemies but in this its just unpossible.

-the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ neros arm and the other 100000 things about it(could just be start with this and after few missions you could get old nero back) only good thing and fun thing was to combo and use bruiser arm. other 10 things i didnt even use or didnt want to figure out since it felt there is just too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ many things to know/remember.
-any other dmc games dante wasnt this horrible to play
+graphics are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awsome
+/-its still playable but not worth of 60-70euros(DO NOT GET ON THE HYPE TRAIN wait till this game is cheaper)

all in all before the hatecrew comes and mashes, i have played a lots of slash and hacks(ninjagaiden,revengeance,darksiders cant remember all since im furious atm with this game) and this game was down. i freaking liked any other dmc:s games there were but this was like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cactus in your ass type of thing.

otherwise a great game all in all, but few months later to release this game, with some bugfixing and it would be a great 9/10 game. But now after playing it from start to the end with alt endings, it wasnt worth at all.
When you get to end game you are finding more and more bugs, clitches.
The enemy respawn/convoy missions were 99% bugged. couldnt see the trucks, or they just spawned above your head.
Same thing with helicopters to fly to your mission point and you can find yourself at center of the enemy. which are respawing and if you are fast enough to kill them, they respawn again.
The only great thing was the predator, but with more of imagination using it would be the best thing on the games, but now after 2 try:s it went horrible boring.

All in all the game is around only sadly 4/10 with the buggs and clitches.
i dont recommend this game with this price......
