The intensity of this game is never dulled. It's a powered chase the whole time. There's lots to love from the chaotically beautiful Raccoon City to the added mechanics that make this a speed runner's pipe dream. The added dodge mechanic seems like it just a minor addition, but it is major in all regards. I was hoping that Resident Evil 2 had a dodge mechanic just to get away from all the attacking zombies and lickers in the Police Station. Well, Capcom added it here and even got counterattacks if you do a perfectly timed dodge or if you aim down the sights in time to dodge. People may think that this doesn't have much replay value, but it's aimed to keep you playing more than once to complete challenges and shop for more upgrades to bring in on your next run. It's why I always loved these games and Metal Gear Solid. Capcom wants you to work to get that infinite ammo rocket launcher so you can be OP killing zombies while coping with this Pandemic.

So I can affirm that this game is one of the most intrinsically in-depth games I have ever played. Not only does it have a good story to play through that you can learn more from just picking up and reading all the different documents laying around, but the gameplay is outstanding and so entertaining. I have been playing on very hard the whole time and I am close to the end of the game. Now, I will say like the first it was very frustrating in the beginning when you had barely any abilities at your disposal. Although, that all changes and you can easily adapt yourself to the way you want to play. I tried the nonlethal approach for a bit and loved the challenge, but once I started gaining powers from collecting the runes it all changed fast. Eliminating unaware guards could never get old and there are so many ways to do it. So what if I have a high chaos ending at least it was fun the whole time and still quite the challenge at my difficulty setting. Lastly, I really despise people that leave reviews of games and give it awful scores because of their own hardware issues or FPS issue that will be patched. I purposely waited until the issues were resolved with updates and driver updates until I made an educated decision about this review. I will even say I had FPS issues with my combine GTX 970 SSC and GTX 670 (Dedicated PhysX GPU) running the game. Now, I am running the game on ultra settings and I have zero issues. So hopefully this is helpful because regardless I think this has a really good chance of being Game of the Year.

A story that you must experience for yourself. The most mind numbing experience that will leave you in shock and awe. Its a masterpiece full of surprises with every choice you make throughout. I still can't even phathom what I just experience through the creative minds of Square Enix. It has all the components of a Stanley Kubrick or David Lynch film including a fantastic sound track to add to this cerebral adventure that leaves you questioning your own existence.

I guess I was one of the lucky few that never experienced any problems with the game. I love it and I plan on playing it over and over again. I looks gorgeous on my pc and runs smoothly. The batmobile certainly makes this game standout from the others. They really made an effort to involve it as much as possible so you really feel like the Dark Knight. The storyline is best out of all the games with lots of surprises for you to keep you guessing. It definitely was the most thrilling ceribal experience out of the games too. It truly is unfortunate what happened, but I am sure once the bugs get fixed everyone will realize how great this game truly is. My only complaint is that I feel like a got scammed by Nvidia when I purchased my new GTX 970 GPU and got it for free. I thought I would have gotten the extra DLCs to go with it for the pre-orders since well I did get it before the release date so technically I did pre-order it. I am not the only one that felt like they got shafted from this either. In ways it feels like they really didn't care about the PC gameers at all they only cared about the console gamers so its no wonder this happened. Then again I feel like with all this next gen tech that we have the developers are having a hard time keeping up with it. I mean look what happened to AC Unity that had major bugs in it too. Once this game is properly fixed and optimized they'll bring it back for us PC Gamers. When that happens I would highly recommend you play the crap out of this game because you will enjoy every moment of it. Trust me the Riddler Challenges in this one are the best. They were truly a blast to play. I am still collecting trophies, but in this one you will get the chance to fight Nigma in the end....Just beware of fighting robots and racetracks with deathtraps on them.

I've always loved these games. I finally got to play this on the PC and was in awe from the pure beauty of games visuals. Arkham City not only looks beautiful, but also throws you into the most life like crime infested area of Gotham City. This conclusion to the Jokers story arch in the games is perfectly executed and keeps you engaged through out this epic. By the ime you finish this game you will truly think you are the Dark Knight himself. It's just a fact that it's going to happen because this game truly will put you in his shoes. It's too bad its just his shoes and not the whole suit with a fullyloaded utility belt. The large open world and the story make this epic an addictive one with lots of missions and side quests to keep you going. The Riddler side missions maybe annoying to complete, since you have collect all of the question marks scattered through out Arkham City. But the hostage rescue missions are worth doing and out wiegh the sometimes daunting or just frustrating task of snagging these Riddle puzzles. All in all it's a great game to just get lost in for a little while to feel like someone awesome that always knows how to drop in. The Joker with Luke Skywalker voicing is going to also make you wet a bet in your pants too.
