A Boeing 777 of the Hong-Kong company Cathay Pacific and an Airbus A380 of the company Dragon air transporting 600 passengers all in all avoided a collision at the last minute on September 18th in the landing in Hong-Kong.
The two jets finished in 2 000 meters one of the other one, without stopping getting closer, after the control tower of the airport of Hong-Kong asked them to postpone their landing because of meteo bad conditions.
The collision was avoided in six seconds near. The pilots(drivers) quickly answered the alerts of the devices of avoidance of collision, according to him. At this distance and at this speed, ' the risk of collision was very high.
The plane of Dragon Air take up, whereas that of Cathay came down, to meet in a different corridor. The Boeing then settled with their 299 passengers and 18 crew members, follow-up, 14 minutes later, by the Airbus, which transported 284 passengers and 12 crew members
