Finally after a few weeks of playing an hour here and there due to work I finally beat it and can give feedback. I must say this game is a hidden gem IMO. This game has a lot of dialogue but also has a lot of fighting if you chose. I wont give you a plot because you can read it in the game description but I will give some of the games features. The map isnt huge but it is decently sized with different sections that have different people. What makes this game is all the different people in sections that you have conversations with and everyone has a different story, some sad and some bad. With that being said each person you talk to has a side mission you can do. To level up to the fullest and the quickest you have to feed on civilians, which ends up killing them and some give you good weapons ect. but what makes this game a beauty is making the hard deicisions whether to kill or not to kill civs. It made me undecisive so many times and almost all the decisions you make have consequences. I basically just fed on the people I thought were the worst lol. Along with that is a skill tree, the skill tree is very well done. You use the xp you get from doing missions or feed on civs to level up your stamina,health,specials ect. The game has quite a few different weapons from single handed to 2 handed along with guns. The weapons you have to find parts around the world or purchase them from merchants to level them up. Each district has its level of status, and that is how healthy the civs are and how many you have killed. If you let the status go to hostile it kills all the people in that district and turns them into enemies. So just go around and cure people with medicine every chance you get. There is different enemies that have different moves, some easy and some strong along with bosses from each chapter. The only thing I wasnt satisfied by the game was the ending of the story and to be honest this game has a very well written story except for the ending. I like how King Aurthur, William Marshall, and kings like Richard the Lionheart was invovled in the story. Definitely try this game out, there is none like it. Hopefully they make a sequel to this as i enjoyed it very much. Very well done devs :).

+Cursing, nudity, sex, killing, do whatever the hell you feel like doing. What much more could u want out of a fantasy game? Thats why we game in the first place. Awesome game,SP was fantastic, the level design was amazing and graphics. Voice acting was one of the best out of all the characters I have ever heard. Not sure about mp, dont care to play it. Well worth the full price.

-Only negative to me which is an opinion. playing Trevor. Thank god you only had to play as him a few times. At times hes funny as hell and made me laugh but most of the time he was just plain annoying and I wanted to shoot him. Definatly felt good in the ending, which theres 3 different endings you can chose from. Playing as Michael and Franklin however was awesome and had 2 different types of lives to live as.
-Oh and the major negative if you own a GTX 980 FTW graphics card, about once every 2 hrs of playing this game youll get a no signal error to your monitor and only way is to reboot and it comes back on so save your game frequently if you own this card, same thing has happened to my friend that has same card and this is the only game it does that too.

Well I took a chance at buying this hoping I would like it and I ended up not liking it. Thats the name of the game, u win some u lose some.

I tried and played it till I got to the first boss and then gave up and stopped playing it. I didnt like it because the fighting, dodging, and blocking felt really sluggishly slow. It seemed like when u dodged it took him like 3 seconds to roll and then 2 more seconds to stand back up and get in a ready position and by that time the enemy hits u lol. It felt alittle like dark souls 2 ( another game i bought as a chance and didnt like). The graphics are pretty decent but the voice acting wasnt that great in my opinion. I was expecting this to be like a shadow of mordor (fast fighting style) or more like The Witcher 2 (which has the best fighting in any game).

So with all of these and my personal liking I would rate this a 4/10 mainly because of the slow fighting style, was way too slow for my taste.

Well so far the graphics are ok but should of been a lot better, cutscene graphics are good, story is weird as hell which im am ok with, gameplay feels funky, no matter how I set it, it about makes u about dizzy and/or sick. You cant bind any mouse buttons except left and right click which sucks. Not many graphic controls you can mess with. It is locked in at 30 fps unless you use console to make it 60 or unlocked. The FOV could be a lot better, its not that good. The black boxes at the top and bottom of the screen due to aspect ratio is horrible and can only be changed via console commands. I figured it would be just for the prologue but im on chapter 3 and its still like that. The gore is pretty good, when u shoot a head off it explodes and stuff goes everywhere. Thats about all I can say right now. I didnt rate it yet but I did recommend it because u have to chose, but until i either beaten it or ill give it a couple days incase they patch some stuff I will keep posting as I progress. Overall I like it but once they patch some things it will definately help out and make it more enjoyable.

UPDATE:

I finally finished the game and well all I can say is the game was pretty lengthy (dont go by my hours, i left game open while afk a few times), not sure to be exact but i would say roughly about 15-20 hrs to beat the 15 chapters. They finally patched the game to remove the black bars and up the FPS to 60 via options. That is a huge plus but with that in mind they still didnt tweak the FOV which is a killer. I had to use a 3rd party software to change the FOV, because of this the player is so close to the screen when you crouch or sneak things obstruct the view horribly but with the fix done by the public it made it so much better and enjoyable.

I really liked the game, it has a weird storyline thats definately different. Its pretty slow up to chapter 5 but after chapter 5-15 it really picked up and i started to enjoy it a lot. Its not just going from chapter to chapter shooting zombies, there is actually puzzles you have to do and things of that nature. What I also like is there are times where you dont want to waste ur limited ammo and you have to sneak kill or times where its better to run than shoot, that makes it more interesting. Without giving too much away if you like Resident Evil and games in that genre, then u will more than likely like this game. When you start the game there is no difficulty choosing, its automatically on casual which is the lowest difficulty but u will die plenty of times trust me. After u beat the game u unlock difficulty modes and more weapons that you can use and 50,000 green gel to spend you skill points on for the next playthrough

CONCLUSION (Rating)

With all that being said, I understand that games all need patches and fixes but it was obvious that the devs just ported the game over and released it to make a turn over quick and in my honest opinion the devs didnt even launch the game after the port bec of the FPS,the black cinema bars,and especially the FOV. Since I had to use a 3rd party software to make it playable I am going to rate this game a 7/10. If they would of had the FOV,FPS,and black cinema bars fixed and spent a little extra time delaying it, I would of rated it a 9/10. If everything I said sounds appealing to you then you will more than likely like this game. Good Luck

NEED MORE GAMES EXACTLY LIKE THIS

negatives- Took too long to bring to PC, no way in hell was I going to buy a xbone just for this game, no dlcs have been announced yet and no announcement of a Ryse 2.

Boy where to start. This game is now officially in my top 3 best games I ever played. Even tho I am not into magic games the sword fighting and finishers were just amazing. Only other gameplay that lives up to that and more is The Witcher 2. The graphics in this game are really outstanding. The level design was pretty good. What was really awesome was the different unique characters of the Uruks and how they all have different personalities. The main storyline was much more than amazing but I wish there was more on the queens daughter and Talion and the story was shorter that I would of liked it but for $49.99 it was well worth the price and more. The side quests can get alittle monotonous at times but its the best way to rank ur character up before doing the main missions due to there is no difficulty levels and going in to the main missions without ranking up and unlocking special abilities would be almost impossible. The only thing I would change is that there would be another storyline that had different missions and got more indepth with the queen, queens daughter, and Talion and had a more indepth relationship.

Over all this game is amazing and out of 100s of games I have on steam I have rarely rated a game a 10 ( only 5 tops) but this game I would rate a 10 and money well spent. I never buy dlcs or season passes until I play the main game and see if I actually like it but for this one its a guaranteed buy. For once the stupid gaming publicity actually rated this game almost correct. Never listen to gaming companies that rate the games, always listen to users on here that play the game. Congrats DEVS u just made game that is worth some awards and hope to continue this game for many years to come. Cant wait for the dlcs.

In the main mission you are an american reporter fighting with the resistance against the nazis doing different missions and end up helping them throughout the whole game. Not the best WWII game I ever played but it was nice with a game that came out with newer graphics.

Things I liked:

-The things that I liked was the gun sounds, they were actually amazing on almost every gun you would shoot (probably the best WWII gun sounds in any game to date)
-You can grab hostages and use them as a shield and still use your pistol to shoot other enemies and then just kill the hostage
-Counter knife was pretty cool and decent and had a couple different animations for it
- The blood squirt when you shoot an enemy and if you shoot them in the neck they grab their neck for a little animation and then fall over and die
- How you can stealth or just run and gun
- Varies things you can shoot to make objects fall on enemies or release debris from trucks that makes them move and crush enemies or makes a distraction
- You can run and slide by hitting the crouch button
- Map detailing was pretty good and a lot of different buildings you could go into and routes for the most part
-They didnt r.a.p.e you for the money ($30) and I have played $60 games that were a lot worst and shorter.

Things I didnt like:
- The movement of your character felt sluggish and slow but i eventually got used to it and didnt really notice it after a few hours of playing
- Wish there was more guns, I understand your fighting with the russian resistance fighters and only have access to russian guns and german guns but the welrod and the 1911 was in the game but I was hoping to see the thompson, B.A.R springfield and the browning. ( The thompson and Garant you can use in a dlc mission I believe i got from preorder, which you are a different character and different mission).Theres only been a few games that had all those american guns and got them right

Conclusion:

All in all the negatives werent that negative but as WWII FPS games are my fav type of game and was glad to see one come out with updated graphics and such. The main mission took me about 10 hrs to complete with taking time stealthing some missions and running and gunning some. The dlc map took about 30 minutes to run and gun. A couple of aspects like the sniping when the camera follows the bullet to the enemy was like sniper ghost warrior but that didnt bother me, I actually enjoyed that. As for the MP part of the game I cant comment because Im not a MP type of player. I play games for the SP stories. As for it being $30 the game is well worth it to me because I understand how long it takes to make a game and to get everything right since I used to make custom maps for COD WAW and the SP mission was longer than I expected. Hope to see more DLC missions with some more american guns and I would rate this game 1 point higher.

I would rate this game a 7.5 to a 8 out of 10 and would recommend it if you like WWII FPS games

By the way dont ever listen to popular gaming sites or critic reviewers because they are rarely right about games and most are usually paid by other gaming companies to say bad things about a game. Best bet is to listen to reviewers on here or from some forums. Good luck and hope this helps.

So far this game is like any other open world game except for the hacking. You get a safehouse, you can do a bunch of side missions, you drive around, and you have the main campaign mission. The hacking is pretty cool once u get used to what you are doing. The single player campaign mission so far is really good and that whats i buy the games for. As for MP theres an option is your menu to turn off online invasions so you can play peacefully and by yourself. Im not a MP type of person so I cant comment on the MP. As for the graphics, they are pretty good. I dont know why some people are complaining about not being able to play the game because of freezing and stuff, thats their own pc problem. I played 5 hrs perfectly fine with a GTX760 FTW on ultra graphics and had no skipping and everything played fine, no crashing or none of that.

So far as much as I played the game and got into it I would rate the game a 8.5/10 and thats mainly because how good I liked the SP story and the graphics and gameplay. If you like openworld games like GTA and such this would be a game for you. Ubisoft always makes good sp games that have great stories to me. Good Luck

First let me start off by saying these graphics are pretty amazing on ultra and with tressfx enable. Character movements and actions seem so real its unbelieveable. This has a great storyline that keeps you interested through the whole game. It has a mix of searching and finding things with a mix of shooting and fighting. I personally love the fighting, I think it was balanced just right, leaving you not to get bored by just running around and finding things. I finished this game in about 30 hrs and that was completing all the things you have to find for upgrades and the storyline. The guns in this game are really nice, especially the bow, but after time using just the bow is fun but gets boring so I am glad there were other guns in this game to keep it interesting.

I have read a bunch of comments on this game saying there needs to be more puzzles and tombs but to be honest the old games were fantastic but would personally get boring with no action and no fighting and all hunting and puzzles. I think the devs to a great job in balancing this game out between the two.

There are quite a few cut scenes which makes the characters look amazing in with the graphics. I love cut scenes because it adds way more interest into the game and makes it movie like but still leaves room personal play. I personally would add more cut scenes with the group or survivors and more interactions to make it even more personal and make it more involving for the players.

Only negative comment I can even come up with which is minor and doesnt effect me but I hear is effecting a lot of people is the shakey cam or whatever you call it. Yeah it makes it more realistic looking but that doesnt matter to me, I just love watching the cut scenes and playing the game with a normal cam. There are a couple options you can turn off in your settings that stops the shakey cam quite a bit but not all the way, its still there in the cut scenes and some are pretty bad but like I said it doesnt effect me. There should of been an option like in Kane and Lynch 2 where you could turn that off completely to make everyone happy. Also the only other negative comment I could think of is there wasnt enough outfits for sp that you could buy or use and I think laura should be dressed more sexy, I mean come on this is a new age and things have changed over the years since the old games. Lastly this is for the devs, forget about the MP, I could give 2 ♥♥♥♥♥ less about MP in this game as a matter of fact I could care less about any MP in any game except for Killing Floor and Battlefield 3 and 4 games. Im all here for the SP storys that is what the most exciting to me and a lot of my friends. Those all the negative things I could think of and to be honest thats is really nothing major at all.

Overall I rate this game a 9.5/10 and I have about 300 games on my computer of all varieties and types and this is one of the 10 or less games that I have even rated above and 8, so that should show how good this game really is. I hope the next sequel thats coming out is just as amazing (graphic wise and gameplay) and fun to play as this with more personal interactions. Good job devs and thanks for all the hardwork. This game is well worth the full price and I wont hesitate to support the makers on the next sequel(unless it has cartoonish graphics).

Far Cry 3 probably has one of the best single player story I have ever played. I mostly only play single player on any games and this game is a lot of fun. You find yourself driven into the story because in a way it is realistic and you can put yourself in the same shoes. It has plenty of play time and plenty of things to do to keep you busy and not bored of the game. It has a lot of side missions you can do to prolong the game and the main story. Not to mention the graphics are pretty damn good on the highest and it has smooth gameplay. It also has coop so you and your friends can play and enjoy the game also WHICH has a different storyline all together. Im not sure about the blood dragon dlc, it looks too stupid and nothing to do with the main game story so I didnt get it. I recommend this game if you enjoy good FPS single player stories with lots of things you can do.
