Great sense of speed and tight controls. I'll still occasionally dip in for a few arcade mode runs despite seeing every track and racer.

Not a bad move from Dirt Rally, but more of a side-step than a step forward. Lots of features to mess with and a decent length career. Driving is fun, won't comment on realism because I've never driven a rally car. I often switch between full sim using a wheel and arcade with a controller because both modes are great in their own ways.

Biggest letdown is the stage generator.
The generator is a great idea but it's way to gentle, most corners are 3's and above with the occasional hairpin thrown in and there's too much breathing room between turns. This removes a lot of the intensity Dirt Rally had. In the end the stages are as repetetive as Dirt Rally. The only plus to this is daily events feel much fairer due to the inability to 'hotlap.'

Obviously bare-bones at the moment because early access, but this is still one of the better demolition derby/racing games i've played. Also, that car damage...
