Does not respect your time, will lose progress if you die on timed world events, does not promote a sense of progression just frustration. Randomized mechanics does not provide a skill level and becomes very boring after some time.

Absolutely terrible game design, wastes your time with idiotic black hole obstacles that not only kill you instantly with no way to escape or skill check, it will also destroy the materials your farm for no reason whatsoever. The devs of this game really need to look at the design of this game and re-work many of the mechanics. They have no right to even sell any sort of premium service. 2 steps away from a gatch/scam game

Terrible DLC the forced perma death not only doesnt reward the hours you put into the game but actively works against you and locks you out of even completing the story, compared to the base game this is just objectively worse. The beauty of the original SoW game was based on building your character up so even when you die you can regain but in this once you die you lose everything and just demotivates you to play. I have no idea why a developer would actually think its a good idea to work against your player base on a single player casual experience. 0/10 any positives on the game are taken away from this "Feature" because if you enjoy the gamplay which i did the game actively hurts you for time spent acquiring abilities.
