DEFINITELY BUY THIS!
It has RPG elements, levels, skills trees, progression, storyline, sidequests, an OPEN WORLD to explore. The starting resort area is epic and beautiful, then you get into the ruins and dusty atmosphere of City, then you get to play into the lush jungle of the island...... SO MANY AREAS! It has got rainy weather, Dark Cold Nights with breezing winds, Stormy rainy weather, Sunshine on tropical setting, Dawn lighting of the city.....

The fast running infected zombie always give you an adrenaline rush, and then you got the BUTCHER (even more fierce than all the infected combined) It made me think of Dawn of the Dead 2004, 28 days later, 28 weeks later etc..... Fast running zombies in an open world, where resource is scare and you have to risk your life to survive! Even more, you can play COOP!!! Imagine trying to live out a Zombie Outbreak in an OPEN WORLD with your friends, how does that sound?
You can do what ever you want! Survive, loot, sabotage, kill zombies, drive a truck aimlessly, complete missions...etc It has such a high degree of freedom and you can do it all in MULTIPLAYER!

The definitive edition even includes ALL DLC and the COMPLETE riptide game. The graphics is now AMAZING, its an AAA level of graphics. Some people say it looks worse compared to the original..... thats just because they got so used to the old one, the new one in fact does looks FAR SUPERIOR in graphics. the gameplay is much much more smoother, combat is more reactive. Everything is more polished. This Definitive Collection is a must get for Dead Island Fan, or any regular zombie games collector.
