Still a Bioshock game with plenty of shooting, horror, and story, just in the sky now. I'll be honest, there's not a lot I really liked about this game, especially since I felt I kept using only two or three Vigors max the whole game, and not even those were very fun. Basic upgrades for weapons doesn't make them feel that great for the money you spend on them, and there's so many weapons and many limitations on ammo, so I had to frequently use another gun that I didn't have any upgrades in. At least the graphics are better, no crashes, and all audio is perfect in this game's engine. Those things kept me playing but the last hour of the game (which doesn't have ANY shooting or choices) kept droning on and made me want to quit without finishing the story. After the deed was done, I'd say my life was better off without playing the last two thirds of this game. Why do I recommend it? It goes on sale frequently and if you're going to buy one Bioshock game for $5 just get the Collection for $12! Though I'm not really a time travel sorta guy I can see many liking the complexity of this game's story. Just don't buy it for the gameplay, it's not as good as the other two.

This game has smoother gameplay across the board compared to the original. In my opinion I had more fun with the combat in this game, especially because I always had those drones flying over my head and putting down mini turrets in a lot of fights. I didn't enjoy "running" as fast as a slug the whole game, guns feel a bit less effective in general compared to the first one (even though they're ALL bigger than before), and the hacking gets a bit ridiculous without any Gene Tonics, though the quicksaves are fast so I didn't care. Not the best story, and although I played the original version, not the remastered, with as many tweaks as I could to prevent crashing, I still crashed probably once every two hours. Also, if you buy this game, would you kindly change Audio Channels to 64 in the configuration, or you'll have so, so many audio bugs.

Awesome game. Less balanced on Hard difficulty in my opinion than Bioshock 2, and the friendly AI isn't as good either, but this game does have a better story and presentation.

I have a 1070 Ti, 16Gb RAM, and a 9600K, crashed only ONCE in 14 hours of gameplay. That was with Steam Overlay, Reshade, and MSI Afterburner statistics overlapping/hooking to the remaster, too. I regret not buying this earlier due to the reviews saying it's a crashtastic mess. I remember the original 10 years ago when I played it having more problems, honestly.

10/10 would die two hours into a run by standing still for 3 seconds again. :3

Okay game but f*ck the Creation Club BS. Show them that microtransactions won't be tolerated in the gaming community, especially the PC gaming community. This is just insulting.

Very spoopy (and a bit overly long) but a great game nonetheless. Would recommend.

I've beaten every Souls game (Demon's Souls for the first time recently) and this one is still my go-to. What I like most about this game is the balance. You can become a god if (at least on NG) you put your points in the right places and really know what you're doing, but not so overpowered that it makes the game "easy". It wouldn't be a cakewalk for a new player even if you had the most powerful weapons and armor, since the combat is very timing oriented. In the later games, every weapon is so balanced that it honestly makes me feel less powerful. :<

Another reason why I love this game is because the bosses are slower. In Dark Souls III, bosses have attacks that are two freaking frames and it irritates me to no end. This game is much more relaxing compared to III (at least for an experienced player like me) and is more fun that way. :)

Be aware when you buy this game that a mod by the name of DSFix is required to change the internal resolution and framerate of the game (and textures if you'd like). It's basically mandatory since the port is very minimal, but once you have that you should be good to go. :) If you'd like to play online, download Wulf's Connectivity Mod. Without it, it can take a long time to connect to other players. :)

I very much recommend to any action/adventure shooter lovers out there.

In short, the game has great graphics, the guns feel BEEFY POWERFUL, the atmosphere is very immersive and spooky (in some instances, my hairs were on end early on in the game), and the story is really good! If this game goes on sale for $10 or $5, it's one of the best deals on Steam! Intense and very well made game, highly recommend!

I don't know if there was anything I didn't like about this game... Maybe more gazongas and badonkadonks would've been nice. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
