This is a more approachable RC vehicle building game I suppose. The online multiplayer aspect is probably the thing that draws me in most though. Just having a blast trying to out build my friends, or do challenges together, or even just formation flying is pretty fun. Whether you prefer to build replicas/realistic crafts, or just go crazy and build some monstrous behemoth, the game can accommodate you to a certain degree. The change from flying model only to including land and sea vehicles seems the right way to go, can't wait to see what the devs will add later down the road.

The build editor has a bit of a learning curve, but nothing too crazy. If you take the time to learn the build system, you can build something really fun to fly. Checkout the workshop and see all the planes already built by current players and see for yourself. And it's still in Early access so even more build options will be added.

Give it another few months and it may become a good game, another few and it may even become great. As it stands the game feels incomplete and I encountered a few pretty spectacular game ending bugs/oversights.

One.. I got teleported 170000 km away while trying to land on a moving space ship to ferry a guy on board.

Two, I was stuck waiting for upgrades on a station with no way to cancel so I had to reload an earlier save.

Three, I hopped on a docked NPC ship and talked to the pilot, who promptly undocked with me still on his ship, took me on a joy ride before getting us blown up by a xenon.

All these in the span of about 6 hours of gameplay.

Knowing egosoft they will patch things up, eventually, with the game as it is now though, I would not recommend buying it.

Free Zompocalypse survival! I died many times when starting out but with helpful community wiki I am now slowly learning longterm survival building up my farmhouse home... Really must explore the island more for better weapons lol.
