I have found a mod that will give individual players Infinate ammo
Enable Infinate Ammo with - bind "i" "l4d2_iammo @me 1"
Disable Infinate Ammo with - bind "u" "l4d2_iammo @me 0"
Change the bound key to whatever is convenient to you

unlimeted ammo is a global command if u enable it for yourself you enable it for all players I wish i could find a user only command but dont think there is one Its better to create a mutation game which will give you unlimeted ammo. Wing loves mutation, find him on a server on his own your guaranteed to get it.
