"I'm in a state of agony. It cripples my body, captures my mind, bleeds my soul."

With The Bunker Frictional Games is cementing their right to the throne of horror gaming.

The game is mix between classic survival horror and physics driven environmental exploration, which the company is so known for. The amnesia lore is naturally woven in the WW1 setting and the story is as gruesome and fascinating as ever.

The gameplay mechanics first brought to light with Penumbra: Overture, are refined and perfected in The Bunker, the monster is their smartest and most terrifying yet.

Key aspects of the game are randomized so it is endlessly replayable.

Hail Frictional Games, undisputed king of horror!

Played it with two friends, we had our good share of fun.
We will definitely play some more.

Gameplay is more on the diffcult side of things, you need some reflexes and fps experience.

The constant pressure from enemy mobs keeps the game very fast paced, which we liked.

The metal soundtrack is metal as ♥♥♥♥.

"I already have a ton of those!"

The source engine pushed to the limits with one of the best enviroment design yet to see in a video game. In his core a exploration game with puzzle elements that keeps you at stake with a intriguing story and his oozing thick atmosphere. With at least 25 hours lenght, to long for its own good, Infra keeps you guessing about his characters and deep lore even after the credits roll.

"Its a snail! I Found him in the gardens and I called him Smudge!"

The "tough" choices you have make in Yes, Your Grace won't change the story that drastically, but still the the game succedes in making me believe that my choices matter greatly.

You figure out the nuances of the gameplay loop quickly and sort out petitioners without any remorse, so the at first glance morally ambiguous decisions become simple resource management. The realationship between the king in his familiy cleary steal the show over the gameplay here, you start to care for you're familly member and a certain event in the game felt like a real gut punch.
