It reminds me a lot of the very first Sims game (for better or worse), but with the open world design of Sims 3. Performance-wise, it's a smooth experience, but feature-wise, it feels pretty bare bones, although I see a lot of potential. There could be more mechanics for rewards / a progression system in the future, but right now it's more of a chill experience to unwind with.

There are some woke elements (e.g., pronouns, LGBT symbols) which may turn some people off, although you can ignore / not engage with those elements if they don't interest you.

Otherwise, looking forward to future updates.

This honestly feels like the only other dollhouse-style life simulation out there outside of the Sims currently, and (arguably) a few colony management games like Rimworld.

Great for autists

I played Runescape back in the 2000s, and this definitely gives a similar feel, but with some extra polish and quality of life features. If you enjoy the classic MMORPG feel, you will probably enjoy this. The world is huge, way bigger than you'd expect, and there are lots of side quests, charming dialogue, and skill grinding to keep you busy.

A lot people describe it as "Singleplayer Runescape" or "Ironman Runescape", which is accurate. The social multiplayer mechanics do add a nice touch though. Seeing and chatting with random players out in the wild doing their own helps the world feel more lived in.

Here's hoping the servers can handle more concurrent players some day!

AI is broken. Just search on YouTube and you'll see tons of videos of the AI shooting players through walls and smoke, doing 180 degree turns, and being unreactive to getting shot.

Server issues are so bad it's literally unplayable. Occasional spikes of lag, FPS drops, rubber banding, overall unpleasant experience.

Good combat, good story, interesting puzzles, well-written characters, and amazing visuals.

Pretty good. Reminds me of Deep Rock Galactic with its emphasis on teamwork, randomly generated maps and missions, and the meta-campaign of every player's contribution to the overall war effort.
