Elden Ring, man

Before I dive into the review let me just say that most triple A games have, for me, been in a decline is sense of fun, gameplay, discovery and difficulty since like 2015.
Most of these games are imo to arcady, fast paced and cheerfull graphic wise.

The game that has made the most impression on me ever was Original World of Warcraft in 2005/2006.

Elden Ring gave me that exact same feeling again.
The first few hours of the game I had no clue what I was doing and just appreciating the world around me. I really liked the artstyle, the sky, the music, weather and ofcourse the challenging gameplay.
At first I was dying against the easiest mobs and also kind of annoyed that I had no sense of direction other then following the site of grace hints.
But I said to myself I shouldnt complain and push through because this is exactly what I have been missing and complaining about.

170 hours later I can still say this to me is an RPG that has made the biggest impression on me overall since WoW. Its a game you either hate or love I think. in this time I have defeated all the bosses and also completed the DLC. The sense of accomplishment when killing some bosses is just amazing, haven't experienced this in years.

So if you are like me and have been looking for a challenge and kind have been dissapointed left and right with alot of modern titles. As a first souls game this ♥♥♥♥ will change your gaming life.

Some small negatives:
The UI, I think its a bit messy and counter intuitive but you get used to it.

Sidenote:
Caelid is just scary ♥♥♥♥.
I loved Leyndell.
You will unleash an anger in yourself in Haligtree you didnt know you had.
Also I have found so many sites of grace that every time I flush my toilet it sounds like I just discovered one so there you go.
