If you are a fan of the series and enjoy the new mechanics that Square uses for each new Final Fantasy, than you will like this game. I played all the other Final Fantasy's and love them. I even played 13, which I enjoyed for the cinamatics and story mostly, the gameplay I thought was lackluster. Final Fantasy Type-0 takes what 13 tried to do and it does a splendid job of delivering that. I am only about 10 hours into the game right now, but the combat is very rewarding but takes awhile to get used to. Oddly this game reminds me of a cross between Final Fantasy 8 (story wise) and Final Fantast 13 (gameplay, just drastically improved upon)

Pros:
-Fun
-New mechanic - action based gameplay (you control 1 hero while 2 others do battle alongside you)
-Engaging story - Feel like you are part of the world and guiding these poor souls through their own story
-Fast paced combat (compared to other FF games, you can end battles almost as soon as you start them)
-Over world map

Cons:
-controls get a bit wonky when you lock onto an enemy and they die.
-Sometimes felt like I missed something cause a character will mention somehting that I have no idea what or where it is.
-HD upgrade is a joke, the character rendering is laughable at times.
-Save often unlike other FF games where you can save almost anywhere, here you can only save at set areas.
