While for a long time I have tolerated Overkill's questionable practices regarding this game, the recent black market update has really tipped the scales for me. Payday 2 has had a gauntlet of DLC packs (16!) released in the past year, each costing about 5-7 dollars, and a very small amount of free content by comparison. You'd think that in the free, community oriented event they are running right now they would try to rectify this disparity, but instaid it's been absolutely ignored. They now ask me to pay even more money ($2.50!) for a random weapon skin, some of which are for weapons that I don't even have the DLC for. They aren't even just cosmetic things, they actually affect weapon's performance as well! The kind of character that a developer would have to have to pull such a move in, again, a free event that is supposed to give back to the game's community, fills me with an immense amount of dissapointment. If you want to buy this game, go into it knowing that it has a developer that is looking to nickel-and-dime you at every opportunity.

This game lets you launch little green men into space
But they dont care what kind of stupid rockets they're in
It makes me think that they aren't men at all
They are too weak-willed to be called that

So I saw that this game was like a dollar
And thought wowsers what a deal
But then I was greeted with disappointment
I shouldn't buy lottery tickets so often

So apparently theres two blue guys in this game
Ones tall and goes really fast
Ones less tall and less fast but more loopty doopy jump-n-boopy
Both really hate this fat guy with a stache who makes robots
Seems pretty suspicious if you ask me

The perfection required in this game has made people produce rage in industrial sized quantities
Never before has cleaning been so enjoyable and massively frustrating
The feelings of anger and cramps in my hands are offset by the chillest soundtrack
Why is this game a loving yet abusive spouse
