Game is really good. There's a huge amount of strategy that goes into building your maze, placing your towers, and then a huge amount of diversity in which towers you want to build and which synergies you want to combine. If you like strategy tower builders with rpg elements this game is for you

To address the elephant in the room the game does have pay to win elements, however the game offers multiple game modes with leader boards that completely nullify any kind of earned or purchased power -putting everybody on the same playing field to compete for glory. You'll even continue to earn xp/rewards from playing these game modes to boost your progression in the normal game modes. Additionally everything is achievable f2p, nothing is locked behind paywalls it will just take you longer to progress in the base game.

The developer is also very active in the community and genuinely seems like a pretty cool person. The game has been amazingly bug-free in my experience and the amount of depth within the game exceeds what I've come to expect from early access titles

I just don't understand all the positive reviews for this game. I really struggled to get up to 5.5 hours playtime, and only invested that much time because I thought surely I was missing something -I wasn't. You put slimes in cages, you feed them, you sell their produce. That's it that's all. Eventually you'll unlock new areas, and not by solving puzzles or doing something fun you can either make enough money selling slime produce and buy access to a new area or feed a wild slime enough food to unlock a new area. Inventory is a damn joke despite being able to hold over 100 total items I can currently only hold 4 seperate types of item at one time. Selling slime produce is extremely tedious a "sell all" button from the slime corral would be a huge imrpovement from literally having to run back and forth from the selling point and the cages multiple times.

100% regret buying this game

Ok game overall you can easily drop 15-30 hours into beating the game, but not much more than that. Could be an incredible game with endless hours of fun if they intergrated steam workshop or some way of allowing players to make prisons. After 24 hours of gameplay the campaign prisons are all far too easy to escape from I'd of really appreciated them making some of them a bit more challenging.


Side note- they have escape methods that are ONLY possible in multiplayer which is pretty damn depressing when you spend time and resources getting to an objective point just to have some text above your character saying "I can't escape like this alone!"
