if they're gonna judge, may as well put on a show

Sometimes I want to announce my thoughts and feelings to the world.
But then I remember there's nearly 8 billion people on this Earth who have their very own.
At which point... Who the f*ck would actually care.
Everyone has their own journey
Everyone has their own good and bad
Everyone has their failures, mistakes, successes and triumphs.
Everyone is just as lost at being a human-being as each other.

What they learn is dependant on all the experiences they have in life or their ability to open their mind.
Goes without saying, there's a LOT of lessons that people are yet to go through, experiences needed to have been lived.

Yet we as humans treat and judge each other as if the recipient is the final form of themselves, as if they are the best version of themselves at the point in time they meet.
We hold people to that 'top-tier' standard while we judge each other as such. As if the person is Gandhi and should already know and practice everything in life.

How to communicate
How to listen
How to be patient
How to be honest
How to think
How to be a friend
How to be a lover
How to be family
How to have healthy conflict
How to have boundaries
How to navigate emotions
How to be 'human', (whatever the f*ck that means)

We're all floating on this rock just 'doing things'.
People get hurt and then take it personally, assuming the cause of their hurt is always from a source of pure evil and malice.

Which bugs me with how spiteful couples can be to each other when they separate.
Dude, you shared a life and created children with this fellow human being... How can you go from THAT... to absolute hate, spite and disgust in each other...
Completely dehumanising the other person, just to make 'hating' them easier and the idea of once 'loving' them, less painful.

It's the saddest f*cking thing to see and hear.
We're all out here on our own, winging life.

I'll afford you the respect of not judging you and your actions.
Because I know what I've been through.
Yet, I don't know what you've been through.
But that same sentiment needs to be returned.

There's a reason I am who I am.
The same reason you are who you are.

Again. 8 billion people. 8 billion different interpretations of life. Is it really a wonder how we can be so different?

We're all just flailing around in the dark just trying to find the light. Of course we're going to accidentally bump heads, it's only inevitable.
What we learn after that, any adaptations we evolve through, may help us navigate the dark a little easier.
And maybe make that next time we bump heads with someone, more manageable, reacting more healthily to it than we did the first time.

For the reflection of our conflicts bear the lessons to be learned.
I of all people 'should' know this, yet still find myself guilty from time to time.
It's a lot harder to practice navigating emotion because knowledge alone, is not enough.

If people approached life and other people with this understanding. We'd probably stop taking so many things personally and responding accordingly.

I am only human (Flaws and all); Not some self-proclaimed god...

The same way that I'll respect that you're a human. Flaws and all.

My words reflect my own interpretation of the world which is projected from ‘my’ understanding of myself and my experiences. The more I understand myself, the more I understand of other people.

You should try it for yourself. What do YOU see of the world? What do you see of people? What do you 'say' when you talk about people. Specifically or generally.
Then sit and ponder your words, and how they are a reflection of your own person.
You will find that you see the world as deeply as you see yourself.
