It's halo with portals.

Pros:
- Weapons are all distinct and similar to an arena shooter; no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attachments.
- You are rewarded for killing through portals
- Launching yourself with terminal velocity
- Hosting custom game lobbies

Cons:
- Small party size; limit of 4 (I have more friends than this! Where's big team battle?)
- Bots in public matches (you can tell sometimes based on their movement and reactions)

Great cross platformer. It's a very basic game and gets old, but it gets the job done; Sometimes it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, sometimes it makes you feel like a mastermind, but all in all, it's a fun social time. If you like debating with players, there are times where you will love your lobby because they listen, or other times, they'll just cheese you. But I guarantee you'll find some fun with it once you have the controls down.

Lots of good custom campaigns, and the teamwork formula is still there; you just need to coordinate with your friends and stick together. Skill (aim, response time, etc) is required in the harder difficulties as you will need to take out special infected and tanks as soon as possible.

In terms of replay-ability, there are plenty of custom campaigns that are available for free with this game. I suggest trying out "I Hate Mountains" and "Back to School." Each of these are decent length campaigns that are challenging and have thought put into their creation, and I put them on par with the original campaigns.

This game is challenging and a quick time sink. If you're waiting for a friend to get back from doing something else, make a quick run! It doesn't take a chunk out of your CPU. Also, it's one of the coolest leader board systems I've seen in games since you have a demo recorded every time you play; This makes cheating pretty much impossible.

The aesthetic of this game is very reminiscent of Quake from 1994. If that's not your style, I know there's ways to tweak the settings to make the game look different, but I like it the way it is. There's also plenty of guides on steam on how to improve on your time.

The learning curve is high, but this game is worth investing time into; There are some really cool moments of team work to be had, as long as your team has time and patience.

It's like DayZ, but free. There are some mechanics which I think could be better, such as quickly moving items to and from storage. There is a good amount of challenge here in the solo survival as you start off pretty weak. Once you start getting the hang of things though, getting a base up and running and doing supply runs is entertaining.

The vanilla PvP combat is pretty decent as well. Your mileage may vary depending on the modded servers you play on.

There are some really awesome ideas here. A lot of the sci-fi stuff is what drew me in for the most part. There's a lot of potential here and the fact that the assets are available is awesome for individuals who would like to replicate or create more of a story around these concepts and ideas. I can't wait to see more from Oats Studios!

Aim lab has definitely increased my aiming abilities; I usually have trouble with small targets from a distance, but using this game has assisted my aim. My favorite feature is the spidershot; This allows you to train your reflexes and speed. Earlier, there was a limited amount of areas where targets would pop up, but due to suggestions from testers, they have increased the amount of spots and randomization!

This game serves as a great warmup tool. I use it for CS:GO, PUBG, Overwatch, even Urban Terror. As it's still early access, there is more to come, but what is currently available is more than enough to get myself started with training.

If you used to play couch coop shooters (goldeneye, TimeSplitters, MoH, Nightfire, etc), and enjoyed it, I would highly recommend this game.

Each weapon is unique; there's even one that allows you to shoot through walls! (Perfect Dark, anybody?)

If you're not good at memorizing maps or glancing at more than one screen at a time, I wouldn't recommend this game to you.

One of my all-time favorite shooters. Always a fun time when you're playing with friends. I like the tactical play and team work that goes into the plays. Really great for bonding and building rapport! :)
