The game is OK, but the platform needed to play in multiplayer - EA - is such hot garbage compared to Steam. The app constantly crashes and does not allow sign in and if you launch this game from Steam, you cannot play multiplayer due to EA requiring you to sign in on their crappy application to register online.

Could not complete the tutorial because the game does not recognize when left shift is hit for charging.

Still a hacker's paradise. Get within a few hundred meters of any enemy player and you're instantly downed with 3 laser accurate shots to the head pretty much 90% of the time. It sucks because this has the potential to be a really good battle field simulator game, but hackers once again ruin everything. The devs don't have the resources to quickly identify or deploy counter-hacking measures into the game and frankly, I believe, they don't care as long as the money keeps rolling in. I wanted to believe they'd cleaned up the game, but after 10 hours of struggling to try and get back in, maybe not die every 3 seconds on spawn, nope, still the same hacker hellhole. That's 10 hours I won't be getting back.

TLDR: Do not buy this game, it is dead and its developer has abandoned it.

I had high hopes for this game, but I guess I should have done my research. I did not know the dev's history of abandoning games and it seems like this one is no exception. I tried to have fun with this game a bit longer than 2 hours and was then denied a refund. I tried again, knowing I wouldn't get my money back and I honestly regret investing even more time than I have into this game. The world is bland and lifeless outside of the micro town and no matter what I tried, I could not get it to grow or influence it in any way. This game is just not fun at all and it seems it has been abandoned to die a slow death.

Their melee system is so badly done, cheesy graphics, clunky loot system, no sprinting option, very limited character movement. I guess, what can you expect for free right? Often nothing good.

Glad that this was free because during matches I would inevitably get stuck outside the playing area and not be able to play anymore. If it was just one game, ok maybe it's a rare bug. But no, it happened EVERY. SINGLE. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. GAME. Done with this buggy mess.

Good game, but the save system is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ irritating. Once you know your main character is going to die, before the death sequence even starts, it auto saves and there's no backup saves which means if a character you really like dies, you have to start at the very beginning or have to continue on with one less person. Add in that your npc AI can be stupid as ♥♥♥♥ sometimes not wanting to help you and just staring on as you get ripped apart by zombies. Good game, but it would be so much better if you could control when it saves rather than just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you over with character deaths.

Bears will kill you early and often with a pistol that does almost no damage. I read the writing on the wall and got my refund early on this one because I could tell it would be just like ARK in how it pretty much punishes players for just starting out with no tools or weapons. Almost like it expects you to cheat to survive.

The learning curve for this game is steep and until you get established, you are going to die countless times. Online multiplayer environment is highly toxic with already established players mocking and insulting newbies to the server instead of helping, and I suspect PvP servers to be even worse. All of the prime spots on servers are clogged with cancerous players' pillars locking off the areas from building. Expect to restart thousands of times until you can actually establish a base or only play this game if you have friends because again the toxic community doesn't welcome newcomers to servers. ♥♥♥♥ this game.
