Very good game. Good atmosphere, Great mechanics. Would absolutely recommend.
Very good balance between simplicity and complexity in this game. There's enough depth to keep you interested, but also enough simplicity that you don't have to learn a lot of mechanics and can just play.
Mod support too.

So you took a pretty good idea, and in the 5+ years of development, you couldn't develop a functional menu to adjust audio (hint, its master, music, sfx, other), You couldn't improve the USER INTERFACE at all to not be as as bad as on early access launch, But you could release 50 DLC packs that people modded in already?

Paradox employees are greedy "homeowners" and should be shot in the head. You're all parasites and you're garbage at developing games. Only people with down syndrome buy your games off-sale or from a non-reseller. Keep remaking crusader kings, victoria, hearts of iron for the next 50 years with low effort and enjoy collecting your shekels. You're as bad as EA.

GTX 1070. The game has interesting mechanics (so far) but the performance ruins the experience.

Wait for updates before buying, unless you've got a top of the line GFX card.

Suffers from the same problems as GTA, all you do is drive and shoot, the driving is just there to waste your time to make you "feel" like its an open world, the game may as well be linear.
I completed the main game in 9 hours, not doing any side content, focusing exclusively on the main story.

Biggest problem is that you don't need to use your brain to play this game, as long as you can press E within like a 2 second window you can't die in melee combat.
No, the combat is not as good as everyone would have you believe, it doesn't matter what combo of attacks you use, you can use any combo to take down any opponent. There's not much variety to the enemies either, some can't be grappled. That's about it. Just abuse environmental kills for free instantkills, then just make sure to press E to counterattack and you can't die.
Guns are overpowered and you can get really easy headshot instant kills, oh and every time you vault you get like 5 seconds of slow motion (which gets extended every time you get a kill, how balanced) so you can just clear rooms of enemies with no effort.
Driving/racing is literally just holding W. Most sequences are scripted so you actually can't complete them efficiently because the AI vehicle can only be "chased down" after a certain point.
Another aspect that is hilarious to me is that you can just shoot the tire of a car and the car ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ explodes. This makes sequences where you need to shoot at oncoming cars WAY too easy.
The "parkour" sequences are extremely disappointing. If there was more to "parkour" than just pressing shift every time you reach an obstacle, It would make the gameplay so much better, but all you do is hold SHIFT + W and then press SHIFT again. The sequences are also scripted, so you all you do is run until the game reaches a certain point where it's ok to stop running (just filler content to elongate to game, lol).

There are also some weird bugs, in the penthouse section in the final portion of the game i kept flying across the rooms when i vaulted over objects. I got stuck in the walls a couple of times and had to restart.

You might be in Hong Kong but everyone except like two characters in the game speaks English with an American accent. Some characters occasionally intersperse Cantonese into their English so you are reminded that they are in fact, not Americans.
The best character in the game (mrs chu) actually speaks the language native to Hong Kong, and it really actually makes her dialogue more immersive. If all the other characters did that I guarantee you'd actually feel more interested in the game world.

Overall the story is OK, on one hand characters do have arcs but they are extremely forced, like Winston 1 mission before dying awkwardly becomes a nice guy and all of a sudden you're preparing the wedding between him and some character you've never seen. I saw his death coming because his character change was so forced that there was no other explanation but that he was about to die.
I can see what they tried here but maybe don't turn Winston from a angry typical badass into someone who all of a sudden gives a crap about family and 'protecting your own' in the span of one mission.
Some missions are pointless too, like what was the point of the mission with the "King" guy? They introduce this character then you literally never hear from him again. Did the writers just want a token black in your game? There was no point at all to this character, you could cut his mission out of the story and it would make no impact at all to the plot.

Overall this game is average as ♥♥♥♥, i don't see why it's so highly rated. The gameplay and world just do not engage me at all, but i'd say the story would come close if characters were more fleshed out.
I'd say this is a 5/10 game. Its good if you want to brainlessly press buttons but I just don't like that at all. If you enjoy GTA type games in the year 2019 you will probably like this though.

im sure this game is fun if you're a 50 iq mongoloid but anyone who doesn't enjoy driving for 90% of the game and occasionally shooting will be bored after 4 hours

game is fun but,

upgrades are a massive crutch that make the game way easier than it should be
energy refill tanks should not be in the game, and speed gear is overpowered (why even use power gear when speed gear slows down tine so you can shoot more in less time?)

also the price is way too high for considering how much content there is

unfortunately can't remove the ikko clan from the game itself but the other stuff is good
