Overall meh. I came to this from playing europa universalis 4, and this just feels like a clunky, ugly attempt at that somehow. It's not too far off an idle simulator and I regret paying so much for it at this point. All of the countries are the same. Make sure you don't go into too much negative balance whilst buildings build in the back ground, trade happens without you needing to do anything at all, most of the laws you won't be able to enact, research some stuff on a tree, half of which is already done. There's no uniqueness to countries, no distinct politics, no historical events, not even ww1. There's just nothing to do. Go and play EU4.
