Great action game with unique aesthetics!

It has a very interesting combat system. Healing is very limited and even some simple mobs can take most of your HP bar with 1 hit! To compensate you can regain health by quickly attacking enemies (Bloodborne style) and you can parry most of their attacks, with a generous time window. This makes fights tense and enjoyable.

The artstyle is also fantastic. The game looks immensely rough, intense and emotional. I will gladly take such stylisation over most of AAA blandness. The plot is also quite something. It is teenage angst, and extreme one at that. You talk with a given character for 5 minutes, then Tragedy happens, that’s the whole game. It was much too over-the-top for me to treat it completely seriously, but it is sincere with what it is trying to do and it has its charm.
