Horrendous optimization. my RTX2070 won't get 60fps with everything set to low at 1080p and DLSS set to ultra performance mode.

Fortunately I figured out that the performance issues were irredeemable before I was over 2 hours.

Absolutely inexcusable optimization problems. Frame rate stutters constantly. DLSS does not work. Frame rate plummets when certain effects are on screen. Frame drops and stutters IN THE MENUS.

Do not buy this until it's fixed, and if you did you should get a refund. Don't encourage this practice.

531 days after release and the online matchmaking still doesn't function. SNK is cranking out the DLC and making minor bug fixes, but apparently doesn't care that people can't hop online and play someone. The main advantage of rollback is expanded matchmaking. Don't buy this game and support the dogcrap practice of excluding essential features like matchmaking AND NOT FIXING IT.

Imagine King of Fighters, but you could customize your fighter and you get to not worry about hard inputs and have fun. That is exactly what this is. The core systems in this game are actually identical to KOF (actual plagiarism, but I don't care because it is fun and KOF wasn't), then you get customization and the simple move system. Absolutely had fun. Definitely recommend.

There is no arcade mode. This is a AAA fighting game. Where is arcade mode?
The only way to fight the CPU with the DLC characters is VS mode. No way am I going to key up a VS match and choose my opponents every time I want to play with a DLC character offline.

Absence of arcade mode is ABSOLUTELY INEXCUSABLE.

Compared to other games like Under Night in-Birth the combo system in bbtag feels very shallow. The tag system feels tacked on and forced rather than integral to the experience. It just feels stilted and mediocre.
