This is by far the most interesting an well-balanced rogue lite I have ever played. I did not buy the DLC, because of the bad reviews, but the base game alone is worth getting.

This game has been out for a while, but it keeps receiving great new content.

Events are purely random, the enemies regenerating does not add anything to the game and only adds frustration. It feels completely on-rails and gives zero feeling that your choices matter. I thought this game would be more like XCOM, but it is nothing like that. It lacks originality and the mechanics are extremely bland/boring.

Like Slay the Spire, but with more strategy. Hope the dev keeps on adding stuff, because right now the game feels a bit short.

The game tries to be a resource management game and a Isaac clone at the same time and neither of them are really good nor deep.

Brilliant little game. The only gripe I have that getting the allies you want from a campfire can be very hard and the game needs more items.

The game is fun no problem there, but for someone who enjoys single player games this game is just too greedy. There is no single player campaign that you can try out without forking over cash, but the game tricks you into believing there is: only the very first mission of one of the campaigns is available for free. I get that devs need to make money, but come on... At least give new players one campaign to try out.

Run away from this. It installs another crappy probably spyware riddled launcher without asking you.
