This will teach you everything you need to make a website. You'll need to look up several things, but most important is 'HTML'.

You'll also need a program to create your websites. I would recommend Kompozer: http://www.kompozer.net/download.php
It lets you have tabs open to see what you're making, and the code you're writing in different tabs.

If you decide to carry on after HTML, look up CSS, and Javascript.
