Overall i'd recommend TSORF.

The setting (hotel) is awesome. Very 'The Shining. Atmosphere and sounds are great, controls are alright etc. The story does leave something to be desired in terms of details, there's quite a bit of missing bits - but don't let that deter you from playing this game - put on your headphones, turn up the volume and go explore The Timberline.

A few years ago Greedfall would have stood out as a fine little gem of an RPG. But having been spoiled by other games in the same genre, games like TES Skyrim and The Witcher, Greedfall is obviously lacking in pretty much all departments, from the combat and movement mechanics, to the storytelling, graphics etc. etc.

It's recommended, sure, but only on sale.

Yes please

Love games like Monkey Island, Longest Journey etc, but this game isn't for me. I liked the artdirection, but the main protagonist' voice just killed it for me. Overall seems aimed at a younger audience, but diddn't play it long enough to tell for certain.

It's not the Wolfenstein you've come to know and love, but... it's alright. Kind of a 70/30 situation.

Worthy DLC! Excellent story. A little slow here and there, but overall very good.

If you like RPG's with great storytelling, then go ahead, this is for you!

Lets get the obvious things out of the way first:

The game looks and feels like something made atleast 10 years ago, maybe even more. Outdated graphics. Clunky and unresponsive controls. An absolutely horrible interface.

On the plusside, you're given a big open world to explore, with a feeling of danger around every corner. This is probably the main selling point of this game.

I'm giving it a 5/10. Imagine if the devs had put just a tiny more effort into controls and UI. This game could've been so much more enjoyable.

For the price: a little too short, and a little too repetitive. 6.9/10
