Also, did a pw change, and I am reporting this to steam, if you been hit by this, wasn't me, and I am sorry it happen. Same thing hit me under a friend on my list too. Keep in mind, I would NEVER send such a request. With a link to a profile. I am trying to warn the friends I have right now via email and as they show up on my list about what happen.For those that it was too late, I am sorry it happen to you. I am not sure why someone on my friend list would do this to me, but I see he is now MIA, off the list. For all I know he got hit, and we are all apart of the domino effect. Lesson learned. I recognized who it was, and found no problem with it. They even sent me a link to their new account, without thinking, if he was hacked, how is he able to contact me anyway? So I clicked on it Like a idiot, and this morning, I had received reports to my email from friends that have my email telling me they think my account may had been hacked, that someone passed themselves off as me, and sent a link. Now when I log onto steam, I discovered, My account shows that, " I " have blocked all my friends on the friend list(I don't recall blocking anyone). This is all very suspicious to me, so I am taking action on this, starting with unblocking everyone, which I also noticed, was a selected group, which is also suspicious to me. Because not all my friends are blocked, and we are still able to talk.Nor did they get hit.
