I've just had my fill of the genre, I think. Mass Effect, Deus Ex, Dead Space, Fallout, there's not too much seperating them. Instead, I'd rather a persistent RTS with a heavy RPG slant. Think Mount and Blade crossed with Minecraft crossed with Skyrim. I will gladly be a King.

I loved the first Bioshock, have the 2nd but haven't played it yet. I'm beginning to feel the same way - nothing seems to grab and hold my attention to the point where I want to stay up all night drinking coffee and playing a game. Perhaps I'm getting old :P

XCOM is nice but I feel it's underdone. Bioshock is nice as well but, I dunno, maybe I'm just jaded.
