Green hell is an excellent suvival game, graphically pleasing and with all the cards to be great.

But the fact that sleeping is not saving is a clear proof that the devs of this title do not value the time of their player, and this is a strong issue.

backstory : i have decided to get back into it to see what was new, and launched a game.

2 hours in, i had a series of unlucky event that rendered me into leopard feed.
-> back to square one, because i did not click "save" when i went to bed multiple time.

This is unacceptable.

I am being locked out of my copy of path of exile 2 supporter pack, because of a discrepancy between steam and poe.com.

The support have been IGNORING my mail, and all the mails of people in my situation for TWELVES days at the time of writing this review.

Finally got to play the game.
It is bad. sluggish. weak mechanics such as having to clear a map multiple times on each death, with loot disapearing.

Support gems are "unique" in the sense that they can only be used once per character, which hinder skill creativity

I hate the dodge mechanic, and the fact that every movement skill have been replace by it.

In a nut shell, it feels like a watered down and more boring pale copy of poe

I used to love this game. i was always showcasing it as the best VR game both in gameplay and feeling.
The textures and effects were nice to the eyes, the physics were fun to play with, and movements reacted well.

Now. the game has been released.
Texture are dumbed down a few notches. they feel more "cartoonish"
It seems that grabbing enemies is now harder. and not by design, but more like because hands tend to go through them.

Weapons are more clunky. and the powers are just ridiculous.

The RPG does not work well. we have huge levels full of potential things to explore, and there is absolutely nothing. exploration is useless because is it unrewarding.
Trying to bring back weapon is useless because it will despawn from inventory once we leave the area if it has not been bought at the shop.
But strangely enough, it is possible to keep the worthless junks that we might encounter.

I have finally found out that this was an actual mechanic of the game to "promote" the shop.
And that the weapons are somewhat flagged as "stolen"
This is the most lazy and immersion breaking solution to a non-problem i have ever seen

So i quickly gave up the crystal hunt to get back to arena, and this was not a pleasant surprise either.
I had 264 choices of character "types", opted for the most advanced in order to get something close to what was pre release.
Nothing works anymore. jump kicks now throw enemies thousands of lightyear away, gravity spell now feel clunky and unfun, weapon throw is weird (cant really explain better) and now worn weapon despawn once a fight is over.

i cannot recommend this game anymore.
It is the classical example of "if it is not broken, do not fix it"

Good concept, badly balanced.
first levels are a walk in the park, then the first real "boss" appear, and if the gods of RNG were against you, you will get shredded. again, and again.

Also, no means to map controls and horrid music on a loop.

Sadly refunded.

Very enjoyable game. there are probably a lot of content i did not find.
It's less tedious than the stanley parable.

i like it. great ambience, a lot of fun. pretty dark.

The game's cutscenes are audio desync to the point that it is impossible to follow the story. And they stop as soon as the audio finish...

Do not buy.
this is on-par with bethesda quality habbits.
