Highly recommended.

This is a great game. I put about 200 hours into this. If you enjoy defense strategy like Defense Grid or Orcs Must Die then this is for you. It seems easy at first but it becomes more difficult as you play. You will receive a true challenge on the very hard and the newgame+ levels.

What I liked most about this game is that you can play the game relaxed or increase the difficulty for a real challenge. The storyline is decent and keeps you engaged.

If you find yourself in a challenging spot for newgame+, I would encourage researching level up and placement ideas. Lots of fun and well worth the $$.

I will be purchasing the next release.

This game is a must for anyone that likes crime drama or detective noir. This is not GTA. GTA is more like Saints Row which are both great games but not much like this game. LA Noire is more like Mafia or Hard Rain set in the post WW2 era but it plays more like a movie. So the equation: ((HR x 2) + M) may be a start.

What the game lacks in action it makes up for in story. It will draw you in -I played it straight through which is unusual for me. While solving the main story mystery there are mini-games/crimes that will show up. Some of the mini crimes tie into the main storyline but are not essential. They are great if you feel the need for some action. There are also cars, badges and film reels scattered about that you can collect in a Free Roam Mode.

The only issue I had was the 30FPS cap on the game which can make the game seem choppy at times but it doesn't ruin the game. This is a great game and I am looking foward to the next installment. I recommend buying all the DLC with this game before you play since it adds so much to the story.

There is absolutely NO reason why you should not own this game if you play CS or L4D. It is like Counter-Strike because it is mission based. It is like L4D because you must stick together or you will die. Introducing Skill Tree elements into the game allow you to adjust to your desired play style. You can be a tank, controller, technician, or stealth. You can respec over time. I have already had many hours in this game and it is clearly one of my favorites.

LOADS of James Bondish like humor and fun in this strategy/build/defense game. Plenty of depth esp considering this was a 2004 release. Definately worth checking out.

This is a great game with surprising challenges. The fighting style is close to Batman AA but you're limited to 3 upgradeable weapons. The storyline is simple but interesting. I casually finished the game in under 50 hours and found it replayable. Definately buy when it is on sale.

This game is perfect for the Fall Holidays. Although it is dated, it has enough humor and elements of strategy that keep the game replayable. I enjoy playing this strictly in October leading to the holiday.

I'm not into the zombie things. I don't eat ppl and prefer that they not eat me. But this game is one of my favorites. I tried it out and then had to pick it up. Buy this game or at least try the demo - but I warn you -- you will never be the same.
