Over the last 20 years this game franchise has been going downhill with every new release and update. One of the first mistakes was taking the dedicated servers away which allowed the clans to police the hackers on their own servers, but that wasn't good enough. So that went away. Then instituting cross play servers where pc and console players are forced to play each other, but that had the console players up in arms because they were having trouble competing. So in their infinite wisdom we now have cross-play non dedicated servers with "aim assist" for console players which is just a fancy way of saying that the programmers have given consoles a sanctioned aimbot. Now add in the daily and/or hourly crashes and you have what we are given today. All while getting to pay way too much for re-skinned or just straight up re-released old maps.
