One of the best Indie games on Steam.

A great pickup & play type- game that I have played more than 99% of games I own.

An AAA title, worth every penny.

RimWorld is an artistic combination of many genres. It makes something special from combining real-time strategy, role-playing games, nation-building, and rogue-likes. The AI Director weaves the perfect story for stranded colonists on an alien planet, and every randomized event can make your colony either stronger or stranger.

The attention to detail allows this game to be as addictive as a drug. It is the ultimate "1 more minute" type game.

One of the greatest games to hit PC in a while.

Pros:
+Engaging storyline
+Absolutely gorgeous graphics
+Fully-length AAA RPG

Cons:
-Have not been able to achieve stable 4k@60fps
-Has anti-consumer DRM

Notes:
I am running a top-of-the-line PC for early 2018 (i7-8700k, 64GB DDR4@2933MHz, 2x 1080Ti 11GB "Blower", SoundBlaster Z PCIe, 12TB RAID, Xbox One controller). Maxxed-out graphics settings with VSYNC off, still cannot achieve 60fps steady all the time. Have to go with 30fps for steady rendering. SLI seems to do nothing as compared to a solo 1080Ti 11GB. Just a word to the wise...

The defacto "fixed-screen shooter" game returns! Forget the PSP, DS, and even XB360 versions of Space Invaders Extreme, here is a remixed modern version that plays well in 4k on modern PCs!

PROs:
+Fast-paced shoot-'em-up action
+Remixed levels from the original Extreme(s)
+More on-screen stats than any previous iteration
+upscales great to 4k tv
+great controller and keyboard support

CONs:
-not many options in the options menu...

Conclusion:
As a major fan of Space Invaders, and espcially the Space Invaders Extreme series, I am very glad this has come to Steam.
10/10 - must have for any collector.

An acrobatic "Cyber Flightsim" so *difficult*, I'd say buyer beware... It's really difficult.

Pros:
+Cyber-themed flightsim
+Has a graphical theme reminiscent of REZ
+Developer responsive to fixing any issues

Cons:
-Extremely unforgiving
-Slightly Unpolished

Each level is a 3D arena with all sorts of obstacles that you must traverse through without making contact with ANYTHING. The goal is assaulting the large virus unique to each level. Enough hits of the target areas of the virus will destroy the virus and you are supposed return to spawn.

I found the following games relative to this one in some way: "REZ" for Playstation 2, and the 1993 PC game "Delta-V" by Bethesda.

NOTE to the developers: Thank you for fixing the controller problems. I play fine now using MADMAN & INVERTED control scheme.

I will give this game a positive review... the game is not horrible, but it has all been done before, and better, by other developers.

Too much like Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, but without all of the flashy graphics.

In fact, I'd say buy Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved first, and if you can't have enough twin-stick arena shooters, please, buy this one, too.

Bought the original 20 years ago, and remember exactly where I was & what I was doing.

This remastering of D/Generation into HD was done very well, and is a service to the isometric room puzzler genre of videogames.

Pros:
+Great remake
+Thriller atmosphere
+Controller support
+Story keeps you playing until the end!
+Rewarding experience

Cons:
-Save your game frequently!
-Doesn't save the state of the current room (until you leave it)

I bought this as a long-time fan of Konami's Gradius, MOSS' Raiden, and Irem's R-Type series. Had never put much effort into Taito's Darius series, until now. DB:CS is excellent.

Pros:
+3,000+ levels
+Looks better than most shmups
+More content than arcade
+Online Features
+Local Multiplayer
+Dual-screen support
+Works on older PCs

Cons:
-No online multiplayer

This game is simple fun. Roll a ball around a psychadelic weather radar. Sometimes feels like a racing game, the way the cloud moves. Certainly takes some skill to score, and the fact the game is randomly generated adds a lot.

Pros:
+Gamepad
+Random-generated levels
+Psychadelic

Cons:
-Practiced unlimited mid-air-jumping could be an exploit

Early Access Review
A promising, casual, shoot 'em up game in the style of Space Invaders, or, more recently, Galaga.

Maybe not as intense as Galaga can get on an arcade machine, but when you get down to your last few lives you'll realize you've been transported into a bullet-hell game which takes some effort to stay alive.

It took me over 20 minutes to get to level 11, which shows a good level of content offered for the beginning of Early Access. I could see this game eventually getting 100, or even infinite, levels, but I'd challenge people to get past the ones that are currently available!
