Good game for its time.
The combat is kind of ok but there is room for improvement.
Story is somewhat simple but still good.
All in all, a pretty good game.

Playeds mostly on konsole.
But a ok game actually. Sure not the best of the RE games but still.
It's "a little bit of everything" aproach is actually kind of a good way to go.
Some chapters wasnt for me and some i liked much much more.
I sort of like the action arcady RE aproach too.

Fun game. A new touch on this type of game.

Really fun game tho. A bit of the darker side.

Good game. Liked thhe Campaign muchh. The gameplay etc.
The MP is also kindof fun and at times very fun.
Altho why ohh why did Ubisoft make Phantoms to try and compete withh its own games? Just utter stupidity.
If not for Phantoms, i think the MP oh this game would have lived much longer.
Dont get me wrong, Phantoms was good to, But not as good MP as future soldiers MP.

Played it here and on console. Mostly on console , and a lot.
Had a really fun time too.
Both the campaign and the multiplayer.
A good tactical feeling withh some good (for the time) customization.
I liked the campaigg and the AI buddies wasnt that super bad at least.
Altho it is mostly fun in coop mode.

Story. Yes.
Gameplay. That is a tricky question.
Going for action? Sure. Stealth? Nah.
The thing is, the stealth feels like just thrown in there.
For the sake of stealth.
It works really basic. And i mean it is a really primitive stealth system.
Your watch indicates if you are "visible" or not.
Even if you are hidden and just a slight sliver of light falls on you, you light up like a x-mas tree for the enemies.
On the other hand, if you are in "the dark" you can almost walk right up to them right in front of them without them noticing.

If you want to play stealth. also dont screw up and reload. Because the checkpoint save mechanic really screws you over sometimes.
Especially if you want the good moral points etc.
The checkpoints are sometimes so bad placed that they have you going through minutes of redoing stuff just to get back to where you screwed up.
Really really bad.
This game are in dire need of a quick save feature so bad.

Run and gun?
Thhat feels and sound good. Nothing bigger to complain about there.
Strory is kind of basic but still keeps you there. A bit cliche from time to time tho.

Really good game if you want a more tactical game but somewhat (soft tactical) if you could call it that.
Best played with friends.
I find the co-op missions most fun and to play tactical with your friends.
With randoms it tends to get quite arcady and "rushy".

Othher than that, a really fun game.
I would even say a good intro game to the more hardcore tactical and simulation type of games.

I would both reccomend and at the same time tell people to stay faar away from this game.
Depending on how much of a problem you have with some things that is.
Story is kind of good.
Gameplay, sure, its fine.
Weapons sounds and feel nice, controls, they seem fine.
Altho one MAJOR flaw with this game is the save system.

The redux version was released in around 2014?
A quick save function was basically standard on games even back then.
This is simply bad.
I try to play this one through by stealth.
If i mess up, sometimes i am punished so hard by the checkpoint saves that i just want to give up and either go completely guns blazing or just quit the game.
It's not that it is particularly hard (i play on normal), but so extremely time consuming sometimes when you are set back so faar back or a checkpoint before a very long dialogue etc.
For example, i ride the cart in the tunnel, i get to the checkpoint when you crash through a wall and meet up with the civilians and they ask for your help. Further up you can save a women being "assaulted" by two enemies in a train.
If you mess up somehow, or further on, and want to rerload, you get set back right before you crash through the wall.
Well, bad CP but whats the problem?
Yeah, if you listen to the dialogue between the civilians there you can get a good moral point ( for the good ening).
Problem is, this dialogue is like a couple of minutes.
Yeah.
And this is just one example of very bad CP placemet.

The stealth in this game is super basic.
In the dark, they dont see you. Even if you walk almost in front of them.
Aaltho, they see you through debree, pillars, walls etc sometimes.
The game haas some very weird and stupid problems from time to time.
A bit inconsistent behaviour.

If you play it as a shooter.
You will have fun mostly.
If you however want to play the stealthy way. And (as me) want to go for mostly knockouts and hate screwing up and reloads a lot.
You will hate the save system. And i really mean utterly despise it.
From time to time i just wanted to quit.

Other then that, sure, a good game but with a lot of weird flaws etc.
How hard can it be to look at other games and take notes and hints of how not to do things?

This could have been so much better than it really is.
Almost feels "Ubisoft"-ish.
