I selected No because as a new player I would say it is not worth the investment of time and money. I have played since launch, purchased every season and invested a moderate amount of money in the game, but it is impossible to own all the available cards, let alone artist variants, without investing $1000s if not $10000s of dollars.
If you are a problem gambler. Do not play this game.
If you like having clear price points for in game items. Do not play this game.
If you want to collect cards from a particular artist. Do not play this game.
The money structure of this game is predatory in the way that slot machines and other gambling institutions operate. They just suck you into a never ending chase, and the only winner is the house.
I do enjoy the mechanics of the game and I have enough cards to build competitive decks, but if you are just starting out and are not willing to invest at least $500-$1000 in this game I would move on as you will be capped out not by skill, but by a pay wall.
In short, to late, good game predatory pricing.

Purchased for 5.99 during summer sale. Do not Recommend, even at that price point, very grindy loot system, as well as, not nearly enough fast travel for how large all the zones are, each zone has one fast travel point, so you wind up driving through the same areas over and over. If you really like driving then maybe you like this game, but other than that hard pass. The fighting mechanics are cool, but if you want the same mechanics in a better package go play any of the batman games.

Bought the game for $20 on steam sale, when it first came out. Had fun at first, but game play is repetitive, and leveling up doesn't make it feel much different. Master Fighter, the close combat skill, and you still 2-6 shot most zombies. You cut off both arms, and slice their chest twice, as a master, before headshotting. The zombies actually feel a little easier in the beginning missions, and more durable as you level up. Needs more automation for traveling, and acquiring goods. Only partially open, in one play through I encountered the same pop up mission, and no incentive to play through the campaign story. Deal breaker was a character dieing to a bug, two human enemies who would never die, killed the character in a house without me seeing, and they were a favorite who was going to lead my second group. Can't see myself ever having a second play through now. Will probably finish the game once after the disappointment wears off, and uninstall.
Potential, but can't recommend. Maybe the 3rd title in a modern engine will be better. Pass until then.

Great idle game to walk away and come back into, without missing a beat. Daily challenges and new maps keeps in engaging, as well as a long unlock grind, unless you spend cash on it. Purchased on steam sale for $1.99, and I got my money's worth. Fun and easy to play, with leveling and achievements throughout. Well done all around.

Do you want to play the absolutely worst Madden game ever? If your answer is yes, then buy this game. If you actually like football, and not bad animations, unrealistic outcomes, and poor game play, then avoid this game like the plague. EA has killed the franchise. #FireEA #EndEAMonopoly

Would recommend this game if you like turn based strategy games even if you are not into, or up on, the back story it is worth buying for the combat and light rpg elements. I enjoy it. If you like the old table top and books you have to buy it right now run, don't walk.

I was really enjoying this game, and was almost done with it, but then it decided to delete my save. I do not understand how a saved game stored on their server could be deleted. This makes it impossible for me to recommend this game, and I will never find out the ending. I may read it eventually. Sad that such a large franchise has such a significant bug that has been reported a lot, and not addressed. Uninstalled.
