Very entertaining team play game. You can play hardcore, or use your stratagems for hilarious effect.

I've logged a lot of hours on this game, so it kinda goes without saying that I recommend it. Satisfactory has a great mix of factory optimization and exploration and I really liked the fact that each is sort of separated. It was relaxing to be able to let things run without worrying about some "big bad" coming in to rip down your stuff; at the same time if you wanted to look for a fight all you had to do was venture out in any direction. I spent most of my time just trying to maximize production and didn't really worry about how "pretty" anything was. Later section of my factory were much better laid out but I appreciated that that was sort of optional. I really liked the nuclear age because it had some interesting trade-offs.

Resource nodes are infinite, which I appreciated (even if my "suspension of disbelief" had some issues) because chasing or worrying about running out wasn't the focus. Perhaps the developers might consider different "challenge" modes in the future where there's a goal to reach but nodes have fixed resources that run out as this would force the player to have a reason to utilize less expensive technology

I can summarize what I wish was different pretty quickly:
-There needs to be a few more lairs/dungeons with a new "big bad" monster you don't find elsewhere. There's a cave system with a mix of required resources inside that was a lot of fun and I'd like to see this expanded a bit. The swamps were a great end game section with a high concentration of challenging foes but it seemed a bit anti-climactic.
-The artifact messages can drive you crazy running around. It was a motivation to collect them, but until they're wrapped into the final game build as something you need it's just an obnoxious component. If there's a setting to just turn them off at some point that would be good.
-Clipping frames would be a good addition in my opinion; sure you can carefully align factory components but being able to lay a frame down as an architectural guide that had set measurements for each building side (with each dimension) would make it easier to organize layout.

Even since I got the red ring of death on two X boxes I've been hoping to play this again. For the most part the port works pretty well and runs smooth on my PC. Been really enjoying the chance to play these again as they come out.

New spin on an old favorite. Added enough new content to make it feel new without changing the original game.
