By far the best survival game out there and even though it features no zombies. Yeah :)
When you turn of the lights in your room, make sure to put on headphones.
The devs are super involved and this is an early access, but the sandbox mode ist very fine to play. If they nail the story mode it will be an awesome game.

Pros & Cons (subjective):
-95% really immersive
-Really unique in comparrison to other games in its genre
-The difficult levels are very different to play
-You have the option of going for more exploration and hunting, or barely raking by in some super intense survival situations like starving, fainting, getting mauled by a bear etc...
-Crafting an inventory is easy to manage
-The art style mostly fits the game
-Super immersive Audio
-Great stat tracking of your deaths and tons of other stats
-Simple UI
-They just throw you into the game without explaining which makes it super rewarding
-Permadeath makes it super immersive because you care about your life for once in a game

-Some really bad textures, although its a small game so w/e
-Will be a bit hard to learn some things in thebeginning.
Some of the controls can be annoying but not really a big deal
-The skill system has potential but could use some fleshing out...
You can't craft a ton, and the diversity of items like food, could be improved, although its already fine...

2017-08-01 Update:The Long Dark, maybe the best early access game I've played. The review only refers to the early access sandbox-mode and not to the story-mode.
