Its good for a couple of hours, but gets tedious quickly.

+ they work under the hood, so chances are good that a greater range of hardware is able to play the game.
+ grind seems a lot easier than in pre-order

- very long loading times (i got a nvme and still have to wait several minutes to load the hub)

To all those negative reviewers:
+ this is not Call of Duty
+ neither is it Battlefield
+ played around 12 h, no disconnect, no crash, no clipping, only a missing texture for 2 seconds after loading the hub.
+ in my opinion best immersion ever in a 40k game
+ all those benefits from Vermintide 2 (the dialogues are hillarious good)

- get a decent potatoe fullfilling at least the minimum requirements (no Fatshark game was optimized in that state of devolepemtn - even Vermintide 2 need at least 6 months after launch)
- the game shows how unskilled most people are when it comes to play in a group
- high skill cealing (if you go higher than the first difficulty - which is a joke)
- very stressfull game (in higher difficulties)
- no real advancement in gearing

Proposals:
+ make it easier to mark an enemy, so player will use that feature
+ customization for gear (stock, optics, ...) instead of "different" weapon



The immersion, the cutscenes ... i had tears in my eyes for being such a good 40k game. The potential of the game is promising.

So why the negative reviews? Cause this is not COD or BF and nowadays most casual players want their hand to be hold. Darktide is a skillgame, either you have it and have fun or you have fun dieing and getting this skill.

Looks fancy, but is soulless. Long loading times. The worst music choice of all nfs titles.

Didnt finished a game, but currently the animated spreadsheet is pretty fun. Feeling really a bit like a hidden organisation trying to control the world.

Update. After some hours in, the game is more and more a popup simulator. Dont get me wrong, the game is still great, but I hope they implement some more userfriendlieness (is this a word?)

For that price you barely can do something wrong.

Very satisfying Vampire Survivors genre with an own touch. Currently basic game works pretty good. No technical issues so far. Game content is hopefully one thing the dev bring much more of. Currently there are no achievements and only some heroes and weapons.

But beware. Similar to Vampire Survivors you should not be an epileptic.

Lots of content. Very fun to play with friends.

The good was mentioned enough.

I play modded cause there is still no ultrawide support.
