If you like bikes n stuff, then yeah get it. it's good fun, the music is calming. It's a good game to play and relax after 10 rounds of sweaty hands Hunt:showdown

Total War and Warhammer were made for each other.
My only gripe is the AI don't want to lay siege.
I remember Total war games of old. The AI would attack your castle. Now they just wait out the turns. I'm sure there's a workshop mod somewhere that fixes this...probably.

10/10 would spend 2 hours looking for eggs and feathers again!

With over 400 hrs on record I do like like this game. However I don't like the pay to win aspect of the DLC. Now before the fanboys flame me, allow me to explain. DLC should not give any advantage against players who do not have the dlc. If your flying a vannilla ship and you come up against someone in the same ship but he has the DLC and access to the Engineers. AND he's used said engineers to upgrade his weapons. Then you're ods of winning a fight are very slim, pilot skill can play a part, though it has to be a pretty bad pilot with upgraded weapons to get beat by a vanilla ship. For those reasons, I cannot reccomend this game, It's a shame realyy because I do like it.

I bought this when it came out and haven't played it for many months now. Mainly for the same reasons others have stopped playing. The game is going nowhere. Instead of making the game playable they're more concerned with adding non functional items. I refer you to the 'you can make a bow and arrow out of sticks...but you can't actually fire it atm update'' and the guess qwhat we've added an xbow...but there's no ammo for it...You want vehicles? hmmm....no vehicles but you can make your character vomit!

Thats not quite what the fans are looking for. The dayZ mod is more advanced than the standalone. I'm also angry that they are now using pc gamers money to fund the port to console, or should I say they're building it for consoles which will then be ported badly to the PC format. '' Sorry the game plays and looks bad but consoles aren't as powerfull as gaming pc's so we had to dumb it down a few notches.'' Ring any bells, watchdogs i'm pointing at you with your fancy E3 demo and your not so fancy retail reslease version. Devs are all the same, ''oh it's not our fault, it's the next gen consoles fault. Next gen, don't make me laugh. Out of date graphics machine cash cows is what they are, pay a subscription to play online, insanity. Sony and MS should be ashamed.

Well, what can I say. Watched this game on youtube and thought i'll give that a bash!!11...
However when I try to lauch my soldier into a game the loading bar fills up almost to the end then freezes. So thumbvs down from me.

Been a while since I've played this. Last time I played there was 20 ranks, now there's 5...I thought i'll jump in a reserve plane (Biplane lower than rank 1) just for a bit of practice before heading into the higher rank planes I have. I found myself up against spitfires and Lag planes, not what I had expected. It appears that the matchmaking isn't quite up to standard.

Although I could easily switch to a higher level of plane as i used to play this game quite a bit but for someone just starting out in the game to be flying a biplane up against spitfires ect isn't cool.

I was hitting 70-80 FPS, however my ping was hitting 60-70 causing major lag. I was also experiencing lag outside of a round in the game hanger/menue screen(s). I have the top speed fibre optic BB connection available in the uk so it wasn't my BB connection causing the lag, I also tested it on another online game after playing this and received a max ping of 17...

To sum it up I would have recommended the game when I used to play it a year (ish) ago, when there were 20 ranks of planes, when the matchmaking worked and when there was no lag. Now that these points have gone well I can't recommend it. Which is a shame because this game had potential to be great but not anymore I fear.
