stands up well next to the rest of the series. in fact, it's probably the most well-written Borderlands game to date, and visually the most interesting by far. gameplay is as compelling as ever, and has the familiar feel of a Borderlands title. pretty solid, 8/10.

so glad the PC world got a port of this great game. fun story, nice visuals, incredible gameplay and world design

good as hell

This game seems fun and clever, unfortunately UI/UX issues have rendered it unplayable on my controller, in spite of my best efforts to work around them. Controller support isn't a big ask these days, and this really looks like a game which was pushed out unfinished and still full of bugs, and only received a handful of patches before being disowned by its publisher and/or developer. Do yourself a favour and buy a game made by people who (act like they) care about what they're creating.

It's like FTL, but you actually fly the ship and dogfight with other ships in open space. Pretty much exactly the game I've been wishing for ever since FTL came out nearly ten years ago. That or it's like Freespace, but roguelike-like, and with a rather more friendly control system. Either way, the designers and developers of this game deserve to feel pleased with themselves, as it's a damn hard concept to realise, and they've realised it better than I ever really thought possible.

A damn good game, and although it's a tiny bit rough around the edges in some unimportant areas, it's absolutely solid where it counts. The tech tree is a lot simpler than many other such games, but I'm honestly not complaining; it makes the game a lot easier to play and learn, while still serving its purpose in terms of game progression.

A good turn-based strategy game, a good 40k game, and an admirable effort by an indie studio. Well worth the time and money.

Glorious, truly the revamp that these games deserved

very good! a welcome example of early access done really well. this doesn't just show promise, it's already delivering good value for its asking price. the deckbuilding-roguelike gameplay is fun and compelling, at least to someone already fond of the two formats separately, and the art and visuals have a more-than-adequate degree of polish for an early access title. keep up the good work, devs! this has the potential to be something really awesome.
