Those 10 minutes I played were some of the best seconds of my life

I can't recommend this game because it is too easy

played it last year just fine, thought about doing some achievements earlier today but it just keeps crashing now. verify files, update gfx drivers, etc. nothing helps. message board is filled with more players with the same error.

It's a bummer because it's a great game. I guess I still recommend it because it was fun, but ymmv. You might not be able to play it for very long.

Worth it for the OST alone, this game was amazing to play. At 8 bucks on sale, it's a steal.

Been looking forward to this one and I'm excited to get further into it! Old-School! Sprites, bro! There's a lot of good things going on here, but I like most that it feels like a suped up SNES/GBA game with that down home goodness that is turn-based combat. These devs know whats up

I'm not trying to poopoo on the creative elements of the dialogue in this game, but I think it takes away from where the game really shines; kicking truckloads of ass to the tasty tunes, man.

The combat's good, that's the mainest thing.
Noisecream backing you up with the OST does an amazing job of propelling you to the frontline and psyching you up with these tracks, making you all cocksure and soooo ready to stomp ass indiscriminately, but you just get bogged down in the constant conversation, words words words, then *oh no* there goes your combo meter score. There goes your tattoo money. Enjoy your F rating and learn to speedread, idiot. So I turned off dialogue (and it's nice this is an option) after about 20 levels, and it was so much more enjoyable, but I felt I was missing out on the off-chance it was a dumb joke that I loved. I'm glad I turned it back on towards the end because it actually goes somewhere with the story. Turns out to be not so bad, and this is all super opinionated, ymmv. Maybe I'm just a ♥♥♥♥ or too high-brow or a snob about comedy or whatever, but y'know I get it if people hate the story the most because it's 80% stupid and interrupting here. The jokes that landed I loved though. They're in there, I swear.

The game's good enough for 20 bucks all day, totally fair. Good amount of content, 40 stages, some are short. Replayability is speed-killing through stage unique challenges, posting up on timed&score leaderboards, and racking up cosmetic unlocks. Do you wanna be Jason? Do you wanna be Jacket? Do you wanna purge, like that guy in the movie, "The Purge"? If you wanted to recreate that bus scene from "Nobody" and play as Bob Odenkirk, this is the game for you.
