Dragging knife to Hotbar in the first 2 mins of gameplay got hit by a zombie which closed the menu, Knife vanished. This was in multiplayer and couldn't "restart" a character to get it back. The only option I guess is to remake the server, Nah, I'll just have my money back thanks.
