I thought I already posted a review about this game but it seems to have gone.

Playing SOMA was my favorite gaming experience I have ever had. I would argue it is the best example of a game as a storytelling device.
I will rant about forever about how I believe this game shows that games can be a narrative, atmospheric and life changing experience on par with any book or movie.

You will finish the game, and you will sit there and stare at the credits. You will close it maybe, or you will go back to the main menu and just sit there.
I will think about the game for the rest of my life. Same way you do when you finish a an amazing movie or book.

It is phenomenal, and I hope Frictional can one day create something that rivals this game in terms of storytelling. But SOMA will still stand alone with it's unique experience.

Amazing game. Great mystery, not too long and not too difficult (if you want it to be harder, you can turn off puzzle hints). Excellent story and 'canon' ending. Though I recommend going through all of the endings for the full experience.

This game is a labor of love by everyone involved and it shows throughout the whole game. From the attention to historical detail, the other features I will not mention to avoid spoilers and the branching dialog.

If you liked playing Fallout: New Vegas with your speech skilled maxed out, I recommend this game. Any killing is optional. I absolutely support any game that provides these options to players.

I wholeheartedly recommend this game to everyone and consider the asking price to be exactly worth what you are getting, Go into it as blind as possible and experience the story for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic. If you played the original Half-Life, Black Mesa allows you to play it like you remember it. Few games are able to match the sense and atmosphere that you are exploring a massive, almost unknowable location that Half-Life provides. Everything is here as you remember it and the expanded Xen was worth the wait. I highly recommend Black Mesa to Half-Life newcomers and series veterans alike.

Absolutely fantastic. This game affected me on a personal level. Hilarious and heartbreaking. Thought-provoking and grounded. I finished it and still think about it everyday. The writing is sublime. I have never seen a better representation of consciousness in a game than your 'inner dialogue' in this game. This game is art.

Absolutely the most disco game I have ever played.
Play it, seriously.
