At 41 years old, I am enjoying playing this story again. the pixel remake is nice. The Crytech Engine they used to remaster this game has added some really nice effects and artwork. Quick Save for those quick escapes if needed (typical these days)

I would improve the game by adding some for of Bi or Trilinear Pixel Filtering, Pixel art was designed for CRT TV, and I find it too pixelated on LCD screens. ReShade 3rd party software offers some filters but not at the level I'm looking for.

This game is very.. in depth... The game unfolds fairly fast and there is always something to do. Its a neat video game to sit back play with a game controller on the couch or at your PC and not have to take too seriously. but is fun at the same time. the graphics are very old school leisure suit Larry style from the 90's but a lot more intricate. Anyways Id give this game a solid 8.5/10

Really well made game. I'm not that far in, but I cant tell this is a great product! Mitsuda, The composer from CT is in on this project as their OST designer... What an honour.

Pretty cool progression game. Short lived rounds at first, but once you start spending the gold you earn in game its gets to be really fun for such a basic concept! a lot of copied ideas from games we have seen in the past. which makes it very relatable.

Offline play available.

The action you see in the videos on Steam are so far much further in progression so don't get discouraged. :)

Couldn't even play after clicking on "New to ESO" got an error Invalid this and that, already in use, no password recovery from the page you're dealing with. HORRIBLE first impression. as for the game. No idea. looks neat... Wanted to play. ♥♥♥♥ their stupid login. it shouldn't be this ridiculous. It should be minimal due diligence to get into the game. invalid email format tells me NOTHING. ill change my mind when they fix this crap. Back to WoW.

TL:DR

This game crashed my 3900X/RTX3080 32Gb ram. 6x in a row. Each time I was T/S the problem. EA was no help. Talked to 5 of their tech supporters. (It shut off like there's a heat issue, I assure you there isn't)

This does NOT crash for my second PC AMD 2600/ GTX1080/ 16Gb ram. So I am able to play it on a lesser system.. that frustrates me.

Where is the MAYBE button for suggestion ?

This game is amazing! The team at Ubisoft Montreal did a fantastic job at creating their vision.

The most LUSH environment I've seen personally. One of the biggest factors is the simulation of the sun. They Nailed it ! looks so good. And Night time was done just as well. Moooon-light! so good.

All the grass, trees, buildings, EVERY object you can think of is affected by the sunlight simulation. The shadows look real. The sunlight shafts through the trees looks amazing. The way the foliage meshes with each other.

The coast lines are amazing. pretty much like any lake you've ever been too, it looks identical. the shallow murky or clear waters near the shore. The washed out rocks from flowing river beds and shore lines. How spear grass grows clumps, sporadically where it wants too... Nothing is isometric. Houses and building look like they have been there for a long time. they are dated and faded with crap pilled up outside and around... SO much detail.

I load this game up, time from time, and play in large chunks. this is a game that makes me not realize how much time i've spent playing. Any the truly awesome part is. The warmth I get from playing in an environment that looks so close to home.

Better than Doom Eternal (and I LOVE DOOM)
Better than Cyber punk 2077. as for being able to go where you want and have something to do. (CP2077 Did have amazing detail to its environment as well) but as far as play-ability goes... yeah..
The music flows with the game brilliantly. very well done on that front.
Game supports HDR. which is a plus.

This game plays amazing looks amazing. If you are not sold by the demo videos, then its not for you. simple as that.

The first game in a long time to keep my attention span. Quick game cue times.. (Some times... less is more..) Great job. Simple take on the Royale genre. Fun Fun Fun...

This game is beautiful. the art design is TOP NOTCH throughout the entire game.... absolutely amazing. I had a lot of fun with this... this is a title I would make sure to have with me for the rest of my life. I would buy it again.
