EA application simulator.
As usual they brake more things then they fix when they touch it.

Would refund if possible now after the joke that is EA-APP.

This did not require any garbage EA software to play previously. now after a Hiatus Im greeted with some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EA software installer that renders the game unplayable without it. Steam should have a feature that re-enables refund when changes like this is made, even if you have played above the normal 2 hours.

Otherwise it is a good game series, not worth getting EA bloatware for it tho!

I think this is one of the best Star Wars games ever made. I still have vivid memories from playing through the campaign almost 2 decades ago.
Good story and great voice acting.
A little outdated graphics of course but nothing that even remotely bothered me.
EAX seems..... buggy, but still partially functional (on board sound card).

Have not turned this off since I bought it!
I use it a lot to set up groups of wallpapers with or without bgm for Christmas or games.

it is insane how slow their in game downloading is. will have 10-20H "played" before it is finished downloading since opening the launcher counts as playing.
Steam should look in to this and force a much higher number on hours played (for refunds) for games that simply launches their own launcher through steam.

att current "playtime" (almost 3 hours) I'm att 4% on downloading the game.

Edit 5H: not seen download above 4,5mbit/sec so far and mostly at around the 0,3-0,6mbit range, meanwhile steam downloads at 2x normal speed if I resume those that are put on hold there (30+ Mbit/s).

Edit day 2: Starting with a smaller filesize @ 0% and game in steam @10 hours played, just 97 gigs to go (end:2gb after 1 h)

Edit day 3: considering to buy a bicycle and cycle to France and get the physical cd insted

Edit day 4: start at 16,5h. 91gigs to go. End at 30,5h still 60gigs to go.

Edit day 5: [S]30,5H - 60Gig [E]41,5h 35gig left- note to self, don't ever buy microsoft games that is not on a physical disc.

Day 6: [E] 54,5H - 1gig left

Day 7: [F] 55,5H to download the game.

This far, I enjoy the game a whole lot.
Voice commands work surprisingly well.
I love that you can move the ingame windows around and on to other monitors as well.

there is however 2 huge drawbacks:
I have not seen nor heard of any updates to the game since I bought it and a long time before I bought it.
The DLC's are EXTREMELY expensive, this will be the next "Train" game with dlc's priced higher then a house.

I enjoyed my playthrough of this very much. The modernised pixel graphics is beautiful!
I'd say that this is a great game for someone new to FF to start their journey in to the universe. Then if the would like to try a more grindy version later they can jump to NES or GBA version and be a little prepared for a different challenge.

A little bit easy/fast leveling (minor)

I played the NES classic version in the months up to release of the pixel remaster and honestly it is probably the only reason I think the leveling is a bit fast.

Great SP campaign. Multiplayer. Map Editor. It has it all.
